Hello, all! I'm Miriam, I'm twenty, and I live in the wonderful state of Minnesota (yes, we have 10,000 lakes, and yes it gets cold). As of now I am a college student at a four year Christian university, working on my Bachelor's of Arts in Communication to become a copywriter. I am an avid Transformers reader/writer/collector, and have been researching and studying them since the innocent age of eight. I am single, waiting for Mr. Right. One important fact about me is that I love Jesus Christ--He is my all in all, the very center of my being. Without Him I am nothing. I am forever His.
Some cool stuff about me...oh Primus. I wrote a book when I was 11 years old (still awaits publication funds) and am currently published in 7 poetry books by Eber and Wein Publishing, two of them Best Of's--2011, and 2013. Also, I graduated an advanced writing course through the Institute of Children's Literature in Redding Connecticuit (a college for writing) when I was in 8th grade, the third highest in my class. Note that I am a "throwback" movie kid; I absolutely adore all the '80's and '90's movies like Lethal Weapon, Cliffhanger, Cobra, etc. The Expendables is one of my favorite series simply because it reunites all the classic action-hero guys who made movies what they are today. I also have a list of favorite actors (who doesn't?), who half the population of people my age don't know exist. Those are: Liam Neeson, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood, and finally, Mel Gibson (hence the reason I love the Expendables, if you get the idea).
Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. -C.S. Lewis

It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. - Rocky Balboa
She was beautiful, but not like the girls in the magazines. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for the way she thought and the way she talked about things she loved. She was beautiful for the way she made people smile even when she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul. -Unknown
Note on Favorites: I have somewhat of a low tolerance for swearing or dirty language. I can put up with some, but not much. Thus said, I do not particularly like stories with massive amounts of swearing or foul language, and if one goes under my favorites list, I simply unfavorite it. It is much easier for me to find stories I like reading from the genre browsing section to just click 'Favorite' and have it stored under my Favorites tab. If it consists of things I don't approve of, I simply just unfavorite it. It doesn't mean I hate the person or the plot, I just don't like the swear words or questionable content.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14:6
