Author has written 6 stories for Twilight, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Harry Potter.
Welcome to my profile :D
I update the About Me about twice a year , and the bulletins above that are ALWAYS valid . (:
NOTE: A lot of these fanfics were written when I was 13-15 years old. A lot of time has passed and my writing style has matured drastically. Sorry if any of this old stuff makes you cringe! (:
October 2, 2014: About that one-shot... I got stuck. Grrr. Things in my personal life my last year of high school just kind of went haywire. So, the one-shot is a big mess of feelings that (thankfully) I have gotten over and don't even feel anymore. I'm struggling to re-interpret how much emotion was once attached to it. Once I figure all that out, I will for sure get back to it. I hate leaving you guys without new material for long periods of time. :( See you soon! xx
I'd also like to take this moment to say THANK YOU to the people that are so patient with my procrastination, and to those who have been putting a constant stream of favorites, author alerts, and story alerts in my inbox. I heart you all (: (: xx
I haven't beta'd since 2012 and would be pumped to assist you! (:
On the Inside is now available in French!
Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that On the Inside is now being translated into French by psychogirl25 !
You know, just incase it's easier for you to read it in French (:
About the dress/car/phone links in The Classic Story:
All the links that I promised would be here aren't here anymore because none of them are working (they were quite old..) and I can't find any other links that fit my descriptions! Sorry! :(
Hey! I'm ummmm26 , I'm 19, and I'm a sophomore in college xD I live in the United States . I love Indian dance, running, singing, writing, reading, public speaking, and hanging out with friends. I have glasses (a very high prescription) but prefer to wear my contacts :) Currently, I am majoring in psychology with a focus in neuroscience, and am a neuroscience minor. I have always dreamed of getting a ph.D in clinical psychology to pursue research, practice, teach, and write books.
My favorite color is red!
When meeting new people, I'm a little shy at first, but will warm up to you gradually. I would describe myself as an ambivert that is leaning more towards introversion!
I read the Twilight series back when nobody knew what it was or about. I have also read (in my early teen years) other books such as The Outsiders, all of Sarah Dessen's books, the Peaches series, the Traveling Pants series, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I LOVE the book Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier. It's about an Indian American girl who struggles with her feelings about her two different worlds and which she belongs in. Sounds kind of like me! Another Indian American author has caught my eye lately: Jhumpa Lahiri . I've read all four of her novels: The Namesake, Interpreter of Maladies, The Lowland, and Unaccustomed Earth. (Wow, book recs all over the place in this paragraph. Read these books, people!!) I am absolutely in love with her writing and aspire to write something similar to her prose-style books one day. Right now, I'm waiting for spring break to break up my incredibly busy semester so I can start reading The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar.
I am very connected with my Indian culture and religion and am proud of it. When people are ashamed of their heritage, it makes me feel like they're throwing away a sense of uniqueness that people are dying to have. Thus, my Indian circle of "friends" is split into two: true Indians, and not-so-Indian Indians. STRUT IT IF YOU GOT IT!! :))
And lastly, as is the case with many, I am living my life trying to find my true potential and discover the real me. I'm a proud work-in-progress. (:
