Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and Gears of War.
I am a hack writer. I am aware of this and, while I may not be exactly proud of it, at least I know and accept it. I am right now getting back onto the writing saddle after a small hiatus (nobody noticed, obviously,) and hope to post more hack-fiction onto the internet so people can tell me how much it sucks, and how to fix it.
Thank you for ignoring me.
So, uhm, I don't expect anyone to actually read this, seeing as I only have, what, 31 hits so far? But, Just because I hope to remedy that soon by writing more, I might as well write something here.
I am a somewhat aspiring writer, my largest work so far has been about 4500 words so far, and I have a passion for lemon heads. I've been reading fanfics for around three years, all of which because I was too broke to buy any real books. In fact, I'm having trouble finding the rest of the amazing fanfictions out there. If you have one you want to recommend, send me a PM.
I'm in awe of all the writers who find time to make stories for characters of other books, and aren't making any money writing characters for themselves. I thank them all, for filling my life with free literature that didn't suck.
Quote of the moment:

My stance on reviewing:
Do it. Say something, anything, to the writer, even if there story is bad. In fact, if the story you're reviewing is terrible, tell the writer. That's the only way to tell them how to fix it. Don't be afraid to point a finger and say "You're doing it wrong." If someone is sticking their finger in a toaster and they don't realize it, they need to be informed. Bad writing can always be fixed with hints and advice. That's why we have reviewing in the first place.
So please, if you read a story and went "eugh, that person needs to work on showing and not telling," review, and say "you should try to use more figurative language, you're story comes off chunky and robotic." That way we can all say "Yes, the story sucks, but we tried!"
