August 2017 Stories' status
Broken: in progress, and only on my website for now. maybe I'll find a way to edit the first chap in a way that still makes sense and post it up here, but not sure though. You can read it on florlola dot com
Of light and Blood: on hiatus. Toying with the idea of turning it into an original work... maybe... I don't know
Shooting hearts: on hiatus for now. Ocassionally writing a bit from next chap. Not a priority, though
And so, it began: working on next chap whenever I have the time and right kind of inspiration for it. I swear I will finish this one, just don't know when; but it's a high priority on the list.
Coming home: still very hooked to this one. Not sure anyone's reading it, let alone liking it, but next chap should be in the near future.
Moments: I'm kinda hooked to 'Coming home' and its general storyline, and I've always wanted to ventured into the lives of the Shitennou. So there. Not exactly a priority, will add chaps as my muse comes and visits me for this one.
I have been pointed out that someone has stolen a story of mine, changed the characters, and published it somewhere else as their own story.
After giving it a lot of thought, and considering this little 'accident' pretty much killed my inspiration, I've decided to stop writing for a while. I'll finish the on-going stories whenever I have the time and will to write, and that's it. Sorry. I'm just pissed, angry, and really disappointed. I won't delete my stories, but I swear to God if I find one more story of mine being so openly stolen, I can and will hunt the thief down to hell itself
(you may not have the guts to answer me -which makes you not only a little shameless thief, but also a coward-, but I know who you are and the sites you usually go to. Obviously you don't give a crap, but I really don't appreciate you stealing my story and then go and call yourself an 'author'. You wanna be fanfic author? Write your own stuff!)
To everyone who has ever write a review or sent me a PM, thank you so much! Your encouragement is what kept me going for this long, and it has been highly appreciated.
First of! I would like to say a really, really big thank you to all those who read my stories, and specially tackle-hug thank you to those who take the time to review. It's really encouraging, and some reviews really make my day and make me smile. I take any kinds of reviews and critics, and are highly appreciated as long as it's not disrespectful. If you liked it, say it. If you hated it, say it. I'm tough, I can take it. Swearing and colorful language is not needed to make a point.
On the reviews note, I feel you guys should know (to anyone who actually reads profiles...), english is not my first language, and I never actually put my lovely self through a decent course... How I learned it, you may ask. Don't know, it's a mystery even to myself. I just did, somehow... So I apologize for any misspells and grammar errors you may find. I know there are some, and I do try to work on them the best I can, and if you feel like pointing out something in my grammar, I will appreciate it.
I've always had a bit of a frustrated writer complex, and after reading fanfics for years (and I do mean years), I finally decided to write down all the stories that were dancing in my head. Only, you know, changing a few things here and there to fit the characters I love so much. I never even dreamed of getting such a response, so I'm thrilled! So again, thank you!
I read and write only Sailor Moon stories. No crossovers (ever). I may add my own OC's here and there, but the main characters are always from SM. Religiously.
As you can guess, huge SM fan over here. Loved it from day one, around 18 yeas ago, when I first saw the Anime. Which led me to the Manga, which I have to admit, I love even more and try to stick true to it more often than to the Anime. My first fav character was Makoto, and then Haruka came in and took my heart away, though the tall brunette still holds a special place in my heart. I just love those two, and whenever the story allows me to, I like to make them really good, close friends.
I'm a Mamoru fan, too. What can I say? The guy did represent the perfect charming guy, and the hopeless romantic in me won't let that slide. Besides, I think he's cool (kinda dorky in the Anime, but still cool in my book). I absolutely hate it when authors make him the bad guy, or when they make Haruka or insert-name-of-any-Senshi-in-here and him hate each other. So, whenever he shows up in my stories, he's going to be a nice guy. Deal with it.
I'm also a Seiya fan (preferably female Seiya, but I can deal with male Seiya as long as he's not paired up with Usagi... mainly because that usually translates as Mamoru being pretty much an asshole -OOC, anyone?-, and because, well, I hate that couple. There, I said it! I hate Seiya with Usagi with a deep, true passion, so sue me). And I really hate it when they make “him” the jackass of the story. 'Cause really, “he” is not! Male Seiya is cool, female Seiya is awesome, and Fighter rocks!
Actually, I hate it when they make Haruka a cheater, or Michiru a bitch, or Minako a heartless slut, or Makoto a tomboy, or Seiya a complete ass... talk about OOC! I get it, sometimes you just need a bad guy for the story. Well, make up a character for that! Geez! And what's all that crap about Haruka being a complete tomboy 24-7, with no boobs? Read the manga, for God's sake! Read it, and see how Naoko Takeuchi originally wanted her to be! A quick read through the Material Collections is enough to see that.
Anyway! I write about Haruka and Michiru, because I just love that couple. They're so cool! I'm faithful to canon couples, too (except for one tiny mini winnie lil' "fetish", if you please... *blushes* sorry! I can't really help myself!)
About my style (if you wanna call it that...); I don't use japanese suffixes because I'm not familiar enough with them, and I feel weird using any. Same with words/phrases and the like. Though I've became somewhat familiar with some because of how often some writers use them, I prefer not to. I read on a review for some story someone saying using japanese words breaks the spell because it's understood the characters are speaking in japanese (unless it's an AU story and they're living elsewhere...), and I have to agree with this. It's not always the case, but more times than not, it is... so I don't use any and stick to english.
Same goes with some traditions (like lets say taking shoes off when walking into a house/apartment). Sorry if this is offensive to anyone, but I'm really not familiar with said traditions, and I either forget to mention this, or it just feels weird to me... basically, whenever I write, I'm sort of... translating the characters and making them more western-ish, but still trying to keep them as true to themselves as I possibly can.
Not that it should be of anyone's business, but just for the record, and though I hate tags with a deep true passion... I'm not gay, but I'm not straight either. I'm bi. For me, what matters is the person, not the gender. I know a lot of people don't think bisexuality exist and would insist you can't be attracted to men and women equally and love the same way. Which is true, but not for the reasons people like to wield at me, but because you never love two people the same way. In a way, you love only once, and when you find love again in someone new, it's new and entirely different. Every single time.
Ironically enough, I've came across some very judgmental gay people looking down on me for ever admitting liking both genders... so see? Not only straight people are close minded, judgmental and with a clear distrust/dislike towards those who are different. Sad, but true.
