![]() Author has written 11 stories for Inuyasha, Labyrinth, Vampires, and Harry Potter. To my readers: Please note that I use fan-fiction both as a fantasy distraction and training wheels for becoming a legitimate writer. I find inspiration by reading other stories and once I have created my own fan-fic, it is never truly finished being edited and corrected, tweaked and beefed. I am grammatically OCD and meticulous. I spend more time editing existing chapters than I do creating new ones. If you have read one of my stories, you could probably come back a year later and read a completely different one. The revision process is never finished until I label a story as "Complete." Then it's untouchable. I am a die hard fan of Inuyasha and have been since 2002 when it first aired in America through adult swim. I then faithfully followed the manga adamantly, reading once new chapter every two weeks until it's completion. While I waited for the series to continue, fan-fiction nursed my upset. The first fan fic I read was "The Lucky Ones" by Terri Bota. It eased me into fanfiction. That was followed by several other Inu/Kag stories until someone dropped "This Sesshomaru Needs Not a Mate" in my lap. From there, I have been a Sess/Kag die hard fan. Inuyasha opened the door to other animes I now love, like Blood, Elfen Lied, Basilisk, Samurai Champloo, Cowbow Beebop, Lupin the third, Vampire Hunter D, Full Metal Alchemist, Hellsing, etc. From there, I found Hayou Miyazaki, the writer of an old, incredible movie I'd seen as a kid I always loved, Princess Mononoke. Then it was just a hop over to Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo and Princess Nausica and the Valley of the Winds. Recently added to the list of favorite fan fictions was Dr. Who with the 11th doctor and Amy Pond, and Harry Potter, mostly Hermione and Severus couplings for now, though I have dabbled in Sirius and Hermione... Something about the dark arts is sexy, no lie. I recently read my first Labyrinth Fanfiction, 'It's Only Forever' and I think I've found a new focus : ) Story totally blew me away. I really love the Underground idea and I hope to one day write a decent Jareth/Sarah fic. The book Wicked by Gregory Mcguire is a really phenomenal read and fanfics pairing Elphaba with Fiyero are also a past time. |
