Pet Peeves

Authors not using a spelling and grammar checker.

Incomplete stories, that will never be finished.

Stories/Authors disappearing off favorite/alert lists with no warning.

Long waits for updates. By long, I mean more than 6 months.

Authors having multiple stories in progress at once. Please complete one story, before starting another.

If an incomplete story hasn't been updated in over 2 years, I removed it from my favorite stories list, unless it's part of a series I have on my favorite stories list.

Favorite Pairings

HP/HG, HP/DG, HP/FD, HP/LL, HP/NT, HP/WA. I tend to skip over HP/GW pairings these days.

Whatever happened to modesty?

Girls/Women shouldn't be wearing a skirt so short, that it looks like a really wide belt. Skirts should be no shorter than just below the knee. They also shouldn't be skin tight. I'm not talking about little girls here. I'm talking about girls/women who are going through, or have finished, puberty. Cover up girls. Don't flaunt everything you have. Leave something to the imagination. Shirts/tops/dresses should cover you up to the base of your neck in the back, with a neckline no lower than just below the collarbone in the front. Sleeveless is fine, however. Jeans shouldn't look like they're painted on. That's way too tight. Give yourselves room to breathe.

Boys/Men shouldn't be wearing their pants with the crotch down around their knees. Pull your pants up, and tighten your belt! Nobody wants to see what kind of underwear you're wearing.

Unlike the "dresses" today, my High School Prom dress covered me from throat to floor, and had long sleeves. The hem on the skirt was hemmed by hand.
