 Author has written 27 stories for Twilight, and Sanditon. As much as I love writing fanfiction for Twilight and Sanditon, I've branched out and begun writing original stories. I currently have a steamy office romance story posted on Kindle Vella through Amazon. If you're unfamiliar with Kindle Vella, it's very similar to fanfiction, where chapters (episodes) are posted one at a time on the writer's schedule. The first three episodes of every story are always free to read. From there, episodes are unlocked using tokens purchased through Amazon. The story appears right in the Kindle App on a phone or tablet. A little hint I learned: App stores charge a service fee when buying tokens on your phone. Instead of 200 tokens for $1.99, you only get 180 tokens. Purchasing the tokens on Amazon rather than the kindle app is suggested. There are different price options when buying tokens. How many tokens it takes to unlock an episode varies on word count. Typically, the writers who post their stories on KV try to keep their episodes around 1,000 words or so. My episodes are usually between 1,000-2,000, and I post 2-3 episodes a week. I think the highest amount of tokens one of my episodes has cost was 19. The downside of Kindle Vella is that it's only available in the US. Hopefully, they will branch out and make it available everywhere. To accommodate readers in other countries, as a writer, we can post our story on other platforms as long as it's behind a paywall. I've set up a Laterpress account and posted the same story on the same schedule as KV for those in other countries. I've set it up to be a one-time yearly subscription to be able to read anything I post that year. I have many other stories in the process for the future.
