Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter.
Welcome to my profile! I am Dua (pronounced doo-AH) and this is my library of creative writing, as exercised through the medium of fanfiction.
I have been an avid reader of fanfiction, since first discovering it in 2001, but didn't get the courage to pen anything of my own until 2009. I took a break from writing and creative pursuits, while I focused on several RL issues and my life changed, and there was less time for creativity. But, now that I am married and settled in a new city, with plenty of time on my hands and the interest in creativity again - I've decided to resume writing fanfiction and use it as a tool to becoming a professional novelist.
I consider myself an aspiring romance novelist who loves to find the love in all of my favorite fictional worlds.
As a romance novelist, I'm seeking to gain practice in becoming more skillful at sub-genres, so although all of my fics will be romance - each story is a practice in a sub-genre and I'm pleased that FFN has so many to chose from.
When it comes to fandoms, I'm primarily focused on my OTF (one true fandom), which is J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. I've been a Potterhead since the first book came out back in 1997 and after over twenty years of loving and growing with this world, I must say that most of my works will likely be in this fandom. However, as a writer and rabid reader, I have many, many fandoms that I'm as equally obsessed with, though it's unlikely you'll see my fics from a non-Potter fandom.
Here is to tapping into that root creativity and growing in my own skills as a writer...so that I can write about what I love most on this Earth: love!
Yours in romance and magic,

Social Media, Website, and Online Archives
My website can be found here, with plenty of extras not allowed on third-party/online web archives, such as blogs, deleted scenes and explicit scenes of a MA rating and higher not allowed on web archives, fancasts, sound scripts to accompany the fics, and more.
In addition to posting here on FFN, I post an additional fanfiction archives around the web. My profiles on those are archives can be found here! Especially be mindful of my AO3 profile, as that is an archive which allows MA and MA material to be posted on in their archives. As a romance novelist, that's a plus, because sometimes, a project just can't be completed without those mature scenes! :)
