Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, and Legend of Zelda. Argh, how many times have I updated this since I've been on this site? Three? Boring stuff about me: Senior living in the dull roar of the Minnesotan suburbs, majoring in English and French and minor in History (when I get there of course.) Likes Indie music and watching Leonardo di Caprio movies over and over again, and, most importantly, hates black liquorice. Most of my fanfics on here are either obselete or on hiatus. I'm sorry all, I really am, but I do have my own justification for these matters. Fics will be explained in order of priority: RoomMates: Written during the fantastic summer between my eigth and ninth grade, RoomMates has been the bane of my fanfiction existence. I started the fic for fun - it was in the time before, almost four years ago actually, when NC-17 fics were still a good read and Jealous!Ron wasn't yet such a cliche (I absolutely adore Ron now and could never write such scenes as what's in here - well that's not true, the new one-shot features a not-so-favorable-Ron, but I'm rambling again.) There's not much more for me to do in this story - I was frustrated with it so I made things happen that can't be fixed without a bleak ending (which I'm certaintly not a stranger of) that didn't match with the story or an unbelievable happy ending. It just can't be done - I'm sorry to those who actually liked it for the few humorous parts, but it's really not a great loss to the literary world. Far Beyond the Light: I don't know about this fic yet. So far, from the first chapter on here even it's really not HBP compatible, so I don't know if I'm going to adjust for HBP, continue writing it anyway, or abandon it completely. I really would like to continue writing it, but considering the fact that most of the story (not yet posted on here) features a character who we all know and love that died in HBP - I just haven't been able to do it. I had so many great plot bunnies involving D/G and D/Hr that I was so excited to try, though, but I'm afraid I either can't stretch Draco's character that far (if the story is made indeed HBP compatible) or that I'll use those scenes for the fic I'm writing now that IS HBP compatible. Perhaps I'll use them in here anyway, but I really don't know yet. Obsidian Prisoner: Yet another fic written in the days of old, I wrote both chapters in one day and was so pleased that I posted them here hastily, forgetting that I needed more than fluff for a plot. I do, however, still feel that although some grammatical things could be changed, the first two chapters have some beautiful writing that I don't intend on taking off this site. I did, however, consider writing a final third chapter and make it into a mini-fic, but I probably won't do it for a while. Hyrule's Darkest Past: Oh how I love Zelda, and I think it shows in the way that I've written this fic. I do have more than just the one chapter but I don't know if I'm ready to put it on here yet. I know - it's been over a year I'm sure and I did have a plot mostly worked out but I'm concentrating so much on HP and my original writing and school and work and blah blah that I haven't had the time/energy/motivation to crank it out. Perhaps I will someday though, Almost Tea-Time: The Diaries of Hermione Granger: The little bit I have of this fic on here and my computer was so fun to write, but I have recently shied away from first person stories or diary fics in general, even though Bridget Jones Diary and the Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging books (see a British pattern here?) are still some of my favorite. This fic is obviously Pre-OotP and I really don't have interest in writing any more about fifth-year Hermione anyway. Fifth year fics are still good reads but I'm more concentrated on the later books now.On to my favorites (I know, I'm so corny and unoriginal)... Books: Blood and Chocolate and The Silver Kiss by Annette-Curtis Klause Ella Enchanted by Gail Carlson Levine Go Ask Alice by Anonymous In the Forests of the Night, etc. by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis aaandd.. The Harry Potter series by Jo (do I really have to say the rest? Oh, alright, anne Kathleen Rowling) Yeah, I think that's about all. Word to the wise - even though these ol' fics might not be the most well-written doesn't mean I'm not a sticker for grammar and structure. I'll read something over and revise it about ten times before I turn it in which means that I'd LOVE to beta for someone out there.
