Sincerely Untrue/ Journey of the Broken Ideal: I am actually very proud of this particular story. It's my pride and joy, if you want to put it that way. I guess the reason is that the story comes so easy to me and the reason for that again is because there are so many possibilities, so many different paths I can chose from. This means that I can craft and form the story in the way that I want, there are no limits to my imagination.
Also, the many complicated relationships within this story enables me to grow in my writing, especially when it comes down to communication, conflicts and (hidden )felings and the depths of all of this. In a way, you could say that this story or writing this is like a guinea pig for me, since I am able to learn by writing and trying whatever I want to and hopefully outgrow myself.
Perish in the Name of Passion: I always liked this fandom (Tudors), but I had also always felt like I was not ready for this. In my opinion, writing for the historical pairing is a very catchy thing and requires a lot of talent and sensitivity. This isn't simple writing, there is nothing simple, especially in portraying Anne, because as much as I love her, she is a rather selfish woman, someone who is not easily liked by her peers and not without a reason, I guess
The art in writing this one for me was to have her a main character and still try to portray her as according to her personality, because let's face it, we would all love for our characters to be lovey-dovey, picture perfect, who can do no wrong just right. So what I like about writing this is the difficulty in realizing the characters, making them have flaws and never forgetting that!
Winx Club: I think it has something to do with my graduation and that this is the reason why I became so fascinated with my childhood shows again, anyway, somehow I picked up my favorite show again and I got this crazy idea for a fanfic and well, there is nothing much I can do about it.
But still, anyway, I am excited about when I will post this story, because this if the first time I would try to go into a more fantasy-esque genre. I may already have a few scenes in Sincerely Untrue - if you could count it as such - but this is really new to me, since the fantasy thing is much more present. I am pretty interested in this, especially since I love fantasy (of course with a little - or a lot of - romance) and up until now, I never got the chance to try this out.
Teen Titans/ Batman: Yeah, I think by now it becomes clear that I am rather a serial cheater when it comes down to fandoms. Anyway, somehow, I love comics, not comics itself, but I guess it's the possibility, the romance in the stories and I found a particular love for Starfire, because seriously: who could not love her? The naive, yet so very hot and beautiful red-haired alien girl. For me, she is an interesting character, because of her background story, but also the relationship she shares with Richard and in away, also due to the emotional turmoil she goes through (mostly because of him).
Personally, I also like her for her character and her notion of love, the way she is able to give it so freely, without any conditions, yet so vulnerable. I just had to write one, especially for her.
Now, I also added Batman, but it's more concentrated on Catwoman actually. She is just as fascinating and so very intriguing as a character, with her charm, her sex-appeal and just the way that she is. But aside from her confidence, it's also the relationship with Batman that makes her one of my favorite female characters in the DC universe, sure, she can be identified without their relationship, but seriously, the relationship just adds to her allure and in my mind, it is also the other way around. Sure, Batman is cool and all that, but for me, I could never imagine him without her, a Batman without Catwoman is just not possible. I also suspect that, as interesting and full-fleshed character as he might be on his own, I would never have picked up any interest in him if it were not for Selina Kyle.
