Author has written 4 stories for Twilight.
I started reading Twilight fan fiction five years ago after watching the DVD for the first movie and falling in love ... with the books, movies, characters, and actors who played them! A year later, I scratched a 'what if' itch, and began writing my first canon story, Once Bitten, as Twiloversue. I eventually plucked up the courage to submit the first chapter to Project Team Beta where I met my lovely original betas, Chloe Cougar and Squeaky Zorro, two lovely ladies who encouraged me to continue writing and taught me a great deal.
My second story, A Forbidden Love, a Twilight/Regency/Romance set in the early 1800s, was a surprising success, receiving over 1.2 million hits, 12000 reviews, and the interest of the wonderful Katmom who was working as an acquisitions editor for The Writer's Coffee Shop at the time. To my utter amazement, TWCS offered to publish a reworked and 'de-Twilighted' version of the story as well as my first original story, another Regency romance called Passion and Propriety.
This came at a great time for me, as I'd just been diagnosed with a rotten neurological disorder and was unable to continue working in my profession as a counsellor. I now write full time, have published three books with TWCS, and have even started receiving royalty cheques...though I'm a long way off earning a living from my writing. It's a start though, and it's great to be busy doing something I enjoy rather than sitting around feeling sorry for myself.
After a year and a half of writing and editing for publication, I was eager to get back to the wonderful fanfic world, and began writing and posting Restoration last December. I'm hoping to write two more stories in the series, and I am planning to publish them one day (sigh...I have to pay the bills somehow!) At this stage, I'm going to leave them up on fanfic for my lovely readers to enjoy for free while self publishing them on Amazon to hopefully reach new readers.
Here's some information about my published books -
Innocence (A Forbidden Love, Book 1) spent two months on the Amazon Top 100 Regency Romance list, and Protection (A Forbidden Love, Book 2) made the list for quite a while as well. I can't thank my fan fiction readers enough for all your support.
You can purchase my books through Amazon, itunes, Nook, and The Writer's Coffee Shop (the paperback is much cheaper through them). Here are a couple of links -
Here are some of the wonderful reviews I've received for Innocence and Protection -
"With twists, turns, and a comeuppance or two, INNOCENCE is a compulsively readable historical romance sure to satisfy fans of the genre and have them clamoring for more." Miss Ivy's Book Nook
"Innocence will satisfy, and Elise De Sallier will be a mainstay on your bookshelf if she continues to deliver such clever and delicious plots."Curran. The Masquerade Crew
"From its elegantly designed cover to its superb writing, Innocence is a skillfully constructed Regency." Andrea Whittle, Penny Dreadful Book Reviews
"Protection is book 2 in The Forbidden Love Series, so I had to read Innocence (book 1) to set the stage for Protection. I FLEW THROUGH IT. In the midst of being sick, 3 kids and working, I still flew through BOTH books in The Forbidden Love series because they are that good!!" Kristen - Shelf Life
If you would like to post a review of Innocence or Protection on either Amazon or Goodreads (link below) I would be very grateful.
In another exciting note, the first of my Hearts of Honour series, Passion and Propriety, was released on August 7th, 2014 with the second book, Duty and Desire, due out in 2015.
Here are some reviews for Passion and Propriety -
"I cannot recommend this author, or her book, highly enough to anyone who is a fan of Regency romance or who would like to dabble in the genre to see if it's for them, because believe me, after reading this you would definitely be a convert!" Lily Loves Indie
"This is probably one of my favorite historical romances I have read this year." Jen, Red Hot Books
"I'll definitely be picking up more books by this author and can't wait for the next instalment of this series which stars Hannah's friend, Grace."Amy Alvis, Historical Romance Lover
I loved it. That could be my entire review, right there. But I need to gush a bit more. A wounded hero. A woman with a backbone and caring heart. A bit of angst as I wonder if they will overcome the obstacles that stand in their way of true love... The flow of the story was natural, not rushed, and I enjoyed every page. I'm very happy to hear that there will be more in Ms. de Sallier's Hearts of Honour series. I want the next one now! Kathie, First Page to the Last Book Reviews
This is the third book I've read by this author and I couldn't help falling in love with deSallier's characters once again. I was completely taken into the story not just by Hannah and William, but by the secondary characters at the same time... If you enjoy Regency Romance, you will love Passion & Propriety.
