Author has written 15 stories for Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
Hi Fanfiction fans! I'm Sharon. So glad that I found Fanfiction because there's no limit to how many stories you can write. I'm sometimes a fast or slow updater, depending on how busy school is. PM me and let's be friends! :)
Updates: Chapter 11 of Canaries in the Sky (penultimate chapter!)
Status: First place in Business Communications! Definitely going to SLC! XD
Name: Sharon. I'm Hong Kong American.
Age: 14 and c/o 2017 high school freshwoman
Appearance: I'm 5 feet 1 inch with long, black straight hair and brown eyes. I keep my hair tied up in a short ponytail, and it's became a habit since I need it up for sports and other events so it won't get in my way. People say they like me with my hair down, but having my hair up makes me look more energetic and leader-like...to me. I grew out my bangs, and now they sweep toward the right side of my face.
Personality: I'm a very, very, very busy person, at home, school, and community! Being the youngest of three kids means that I have to learn to step up, and I have. Developing leadership skills is what got me into so many sport teams, clubs, and organizations in school. I was popular in my middle school and am popular among the freshmen now, but only in organizations that I love. I will definitely not try to be popular in something else that I don't like just to fit in. Seen enough of that already. I may be busy, but I alway have the time to spend time with my friends, especially the ones I made since kindergarten. I never ever gossip, no matter how much I hate this person or not, I choose to stay out of it. One of my friends called me a goody-two-shoes, and I'm not afraid to admit that.

[Time will end in an unpredictable future, and destruction is inevitable. A girl stands on the line between the two fates, and it's up to him to save her so she can save all life that exists. But how can he when she's already locked herself away from the cruelty of the outside world?]
I got the idea while watching another Chinese drama called King of Lan Ling. It's ShunxAlice again, and I might have overdone the character personalities already with the serious tone of the description, but it won't be anything too extreme. I'm actually considering putting a love triangle in here for a twist, kind of like the drama. Alice's reasons for locking herself away is simple yet complicated. She'll be like the type of good Samaritan person who helps others but prefers to stay out of some situations, hence outside world. In addition to that, I might try adding themes from the game House of 1,000 Doors #3: Serpent Flame. Like the title suggests, there'll be a huge catastrophe, but I'm still struggling to come up with something other than the cliché end of the world predicament.
[During an excavation, an artifact sends Shun back thousands of years, leaving Dan and the others behind in present day. As Shun helps a princess save her country, Dan tries to decipher the artifact's foreign writings, but both lead to plots that are equally dangerous and connected.]
After writing Shooting Star Tears and Exiled Undercover, I had another urge to write another ancient period story with time traveling. This one is based on another Chinese drama called The Myth. Shun and Dan are kind of working in sync, and there's way more to this than helping a princess and cracking clues, even more than the drama. I know I've made Alice the princess for the second or third time, but this different in terms of status. Still need a title...
1) Triangle Breaker
It's the last year of high school for Shun and Alice, and everything started out fine until a minor accident occurred. This transfer student's causing trouble around school and also trying to break the two apart, and Shun's taking all of this very personally.
This is my first story and maybe my only one with an original idea. It's supposed to be a typical high school life story and the classic love triangle of ShunxAlice and Fabia, but other pairings are slightly implied. Characters from all 4 seasons have roles as the Student Government students who are close friends with each other and help Alice and Shun with their problems (huge backup team). I thought that it was a good idea to do a story with a love triangle and add crazy ideas on how people get back at others. It was a huge combination of the teenage jealousy media that I watched and read.
2) Time Garden
When Shun, the future heir of the Kazami family, is suddenly diagnosed with a rare disease, he and Alice, a normal girl who he's never seen or met before, must find 12 flowers need to cure him. But what else will they find in addition to the antidote?
I got the idea when I watched the anime HeartCatch Pretty Cure and found that it used a lot of language of flowers in it, so I might as well write a symbolism story. I was also watching other adventure animes and thought of the rest of the story. The story is purely ShunxAlice, and as for "hybrid hay fever," which doesn't exist, it came up to me from when my teacher taught a lesson on the bubonic plague in history class. Plus, some plants have healing properties, so those properties combined would make some new medicine. The 12 flowers I used as well as the forget-me-not are all birth flowers. Some of them are a pun to Shun and Alice's birthdays.
3) Dark Birth, Shining Death
When the Oni revive from years of extinction, Shun and the others must use their magic to fight against the Oni and the ones who revived them. But how does Alice, a simple girl who doesn't know any magic, have the power to change the outcome of all this?
I decided to do a story that was more ancient and had magical powers. During that time, I watched a Chinese drama called Holy Pearl, which had some Chinese mythological themes in it. In the fanfic, I changed most of the stuff into Japanese mythological themes, such as the Oni of Japanese mythology. The backbone to this is Chinese, but I renamed most of this with Japanese names. I always had Shun and Alice together, so this time, I decided to have Shun work with everyone else while Alice is staying indoors. Also, because the ancient times are different from now, there are some customs in here that would seem weird today.
4) Shooting Star Tears
An old myth says that when four people see four shooting stars collide at the same time in the sky, their fate will be entangled with each other for thousands of years. And it's about to be proved true between four people with totally different lives.
A new concept used here is different time settings. The 1st half of this fanfic is in the ancient times, where there are palaces, old customs/traditions, and inaccurate science. The 2nd half takes place in the modern times, where there are museums, technology, and people crazy for non-existing treasure. Most of this came from another Chinese drama called Ancient Terracotta War Situation, which had 3 parts to it (ancient, mid-1900s, and modern). This, in a way, is also a symbolism story because things of the past can be brought to the present just by 4 shooting stars (hence the story number). Main pairing is ShunxAlice with a side of AcexMira.
5) Look Away
Alice and Ace's perfect marriage is now over thanks to Fabia. Despite her suicidal thoughts and naivety, Shun offers to help Alice get Ace back. Things were going so well when Shun starts becoming "imperfect" and wonders if he should keep helping her or not.
I was watching this Taiwanese drama The Fierce Wife around this time, so I thought of doing a family life fanfic. This used to go from AlicexAce, which later became FabiaxAce (which didn't work), and finally ShunxAlice. Unlike the drama, I only wrote about the aftermath of Fabia's invasion, without the beginning parts of how she came in the first place. Shun is a stubborn character in here, always wanting things to be perfectly perfect. Some people are a little OOC, like Fabia, Shun, Alice (under the help of Shun), Ace, and so on. I'm using Joe, Chan, and Jake as Alice's family members and the back-up crew for the first time. Alice and Ace's daughter plays a role in the anti-Fabia movements as well.
6) Yesterday, Today, and Rainy Days
Who knew that the rain determines what a person loves and hates? Who knew that the rain can bring back good and bad memories? Who knew that the rain can bring two people together in the most unexpected way? Everything started with a simple rain shower.
The title and timeframe background is from an old but sentimental song by Angela Pang. The lyrics were about how the rain is always around us and how it preserves our most intimate memories. The plot came from Autumn's Concerto, another Taiwanese drama. Like the drama, Shun and Alice meet each other one day and became friends, but then Alice left Shun one day and never came back. They meet again years later, but Shun's sister-like friend (the guy's mom in the drama) doesn't approve of them being together because of what happened in the past. As the story progresses, relationships develop, feelings are expressed, promises break, and truths are revealed.
7) Trippin' in Love's Wonderland
Alice stumbled upon a mysterious magic-yielding person one day and ends up in a another world where it is ruled by hatred. Can she help the Rebellion fight against this tyranny and return home safely, or will she fail and become one of their minions herself?
This is based on a combination of stuff, including Alice in Wonderland. Most of this, especially the lovey-dovey scenes, is based on the manga Kilala Princess, where Alice is Kilala and Shun is Rei. Both AIL and KP revolve around going into an alternate dimension, meeting new people, magic, and in terms of KP, ugly enemies and complicated relationships. I don't how I put the usage of magical pendants in here, but it does seem more interesting. Some stories have characters go to another dimension and stay there until the end, but I put my own twist of who comes where in here. Obvious as it is, the main pairing is ShunxAlice with a "comeback" pairing in the near end.
8) Don't Be Long
They used to have the best and happiest relationship ever, but everything changed after she got kidnapped one day and never came back. When she came back years later, her only desire was to cold-bloodedly kill the man she once loved and cared for.
The main idea came from the Chinese drama Spell of the Fragrance. I actually had some trouble with this story because I want this to be like the drama, but then there was this identity issue, so I had to rewrite a lot of stuff. After Shun and Alice got married, Alice got kidnapped on the next day and never came back. Of course, 3 years later, when Shun finally breaks out of his shell and decides to marry another woman, Alice suddenly comes back in the most unexpected way, but she's actually here to kill Shun. Everything that happened during these 3 years are reflected as the story progresses, along with some "female violence" that's making things worse. Mainly just ShunxAlice with a teeny-tiny DanxRuno cameo.
9) Hearts at Unrest
A meeting with a mysterious person leads Alice to thinking back about memories of her and someone who she now hates. By helping others who have suffered because of the loss of loved ones reach peace, will Alice's heart rest in harmony and forgive that very person?
I was playing a hidden object game called House of 1,000 Doors #1: Family Secrets and thought of making a story out of that. Alice's "mission" is to help the souls of various people (various other pairings) reach peace because of bad events that happened to them when they were alive. Alice and Shun broke up for various reasons, but it's not that important to the mission. As she helps the souls reach peace, Alice occasionally thinks how she and Shun had good times together. Of course, all this is done with the help of other people, who some of them are crossovers from my other stories.
10) Canaries in the Sky
Golden canaries fly gracefully in the sky every time on her birthday, but what do they really mean? A boy claims to know where these canaries came from, but who's really letting the canaries fly? What will she discover in this suburban city that he takes her to?
The day I published this was on Alice's birthday (go to shadowwing1994's profile and see), and everything for this came from me watching Tangled, a movie about Rapunzel with Disney's own creativity to it. The way Rapunzel sees those lanterns every time on her birthday and goes looking after are expressed in how Alice sees yellow canaries every time on her birthday. Although Alice isn't related to any royal family, there are some secret behind her past that have yet to be discovered. Alice lives in the hillsides but moves to Bayview, where Shun lives, for a while to learn about her past. Shun's role here is mainly a liaison between Alice, Alice's family, and the canaries.
11) Bonds of the Briar
Alice signed a contract centuries ago in order to live for another millennium to find a way to break her curse, but time's almost up. Her Prince Charming was in front of her all this time, but will he be able to save her from the wrath of the witch's rose briars?
This is based Dark Parables #1: Curse of Briar Rose, a hidden object game based on Sleeping Beauty but with a dark twist. The creation and design of the game intrigued me so much that I decided to make my own dark twist. Then I was streaming through YouTube channels and found the song Sleeping Beauty by Gloria Tang/G.E.M. and just had to make a few scenes portray her lyrics. The story takes place in the 21st century, but has just a few paragraphs mentioning the time of kings and queens. Alice is the princess, but the other stuff is so complicated that they won't make major appearances. Instead of 100 years like in the lyrics, I changed it to 1,000.
12) Lost the Way
A visit to a friend's house leads him straight to an empty town where the girl of his past now supposedly resides. Questions he asks to most of the people living there leads to more questions and a desire to find out what happened to his girl and this town.
I based the plot on hidden object games Shiver #1: Vanishing Hitchhiker and Lake House: Children of Silence, in which both are very creepy and suspenseful. The story is ShunxAlice centric with some slight poetic riddles in it, but Alice isn't "here" on purpose. Shun meets up with Alice again after she moved away, but she disappears again, only to lead him into a remote town. Despite the few people present, they all know a lot of the place and Alice, but Shun gets more questions than answers. Another catastrophe that hit upon the town that gives Shun another reason to stay, and none of it is pretty. There are flashbacks like Hearts at Unrest, but they focus on Alice's side and views rather than both Shun and Alice, although there might be a couple of those.
13) Exiled Undercover
After saving a fox kit, Shun meets and helps a few ninjas and servant girl who are secretly protecting an exiled yet targeted princess while seeking help everywhere possible. However, he realizes she may be more than just a servant, and definitely more than just a girl.
The idea was created from five different yet similar sources. I'm using ideas from the anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, hidden object games House of 1,000 Doors #2: Palm of Zoroaster and Dark Parables #2: Exiled Prince, plus Chinese dramas Chinese Paladin and Painted Skin. The setting is around some year in BC maybe, so it's not modern with no time-traveling. Shun's the outsider this time who meets Alice and protects her from danger as she looks for help and clues everywhere to find the missing princess. It may sound confusing, but everything clears up and comes together at some point. The story behind this missing princess is actually really complicated.
14) Reteaching Life
After his mother's death and father's disappearance, Shun is sent to a mountainside village to live since his grandfather doesn't want him. Unable to find any meaning in life, he gets lessons from an instructor who just might be able to bring hope into his life again.
I'm going to give a try as writing a serious angst story. Having seen a lot of situations where Shun's family completes isolates him, I decided I should write a story like that, only with a mix or more and less extremes of isolation. It's obvious who Shun's instructor is, but living in a mountainside village means a lot of restrictions. It's based on Dai Sijie's novel Balzac and the Chinese Seamstress, which I read for summer homework once. Novel takes place during China's Cultural Revolution, but I won't include that in there. Social awareness is roughly what I'll put instead, and since it's angst, the relationships in the beginning are quite sour but will sweeten as time passes.
15) Goodbye to Glass Slippers
Invitations to Winter Ball led him to find true love and her to experience true freedom, but all that ended when midnight struck and shattered this dream. These glass slippers now have a mind of their own, and this girl won't stay loyal to her godmother forever anymore.
There's very little connection between this story and Cinderella. I based it more on hidden object game Dark Parables #5: Final Cinderella, which is why the Godmother sounds like a bad person in the summary. This was heavily inspired by my very first Winter Ball (same as the story's publish date). The title comes from a song by Mag Lam about a happy children's fairyland and knowing they'll have to say goodbye to it someday.I made "Cinderella" a different type of person, a pure-hearted girl with standards to uphold, which only leads to her demise. I guess this is my complicated version of what happens after the clock strikes twelve. People said it's similar to another song, Hatsune Miku's Romeo and Cinderella, but I'm not sure.
