Greetings! I am an amateur writer hoping to leave inspiration and hope in the hearts of my readers. You may refer to me as my pen name, Deidra Carmichael. In addition to my fan-fiction stories, I am working on a biographical-fiction story titled I Will Remember You. I am considering the idea of posting it to fictionpress since the novel has potential of gaining many fans and touching others.
The main idea I wish for people to get out of my books is the presence God. Somehow or another I wish for people to realize God is there for them. I mean, who else would die for you to save you, other than Jesus Christ, himself? No one, that's the answer. I allude to God in I Will Remember You precisely for that reason. I hope that you can realize that God loves you and if you've had certain instances, where you may have messed up, such sins are forgivable. This gives me another idea for a story I have in mind: the companionship between a faithful servant of Jesus and a rock star. I was inspired after having an awesome time at a Rush concert: the Clockwork Angels album is all about alchemy and an alternate world. Neal Peart, the drummer and songwriter, is such a deep thinker that, from what I see, his talent would truly benefit the kingdom of God. If only his interest were in biblical principles and eternal life! Still, Geddy Lee catches my attention: from the time I was eight years old, "the guy with the long hair" was the star of the band for me. So for my story, I am basing the main character--Darren-- on him. His friend is a fifteen-year-old girl named Kylie that tries to win him over for Jesus. However, this is difficult for her once Darren's amateur band, Shock, gets a record deal and leaves for L.A. Darren promises to keep in touch yet Kylie feels too separated and overwhelmed by it all. Thus, she builds a wall between themselves for three years, the time lapse it takes for Darren to become disappointed with his lifestyle. In the end, the lead singer, as well as bassist and keyboard player, surprises Kylie by showing up to her at the park they always met up at. The two reunite as friends, Kylie's fire for God is rekindled, and Darren receivse Jesus as the master and savior of his life. (at the park scene, I thought it would be wonderful to start out with Kylie singing Plumb's "I Need You Now," and to have Darren join in). Tis a rough outline but a good start.

This saying is so true. Many of us girls feel that we are insignificant in society or to boys since some make us feel like we don't fit in. For almost most of my life I felt this way. My low self esteem had changed afterward since I had God to encourage me along with friends and family. Now some people may not always have relatives or uplifting friends. This is where we come in; we need to be the one in someone's life to make their day. Now I'm not saying you have to be bosom buddies. I'm merely saying try to be kind and patient. As a matter of fact, this is one way of sharing the Gospel.
