HELLO ALL!

I have undergone epic changes these past two and a half years. These changes are exactly a 360 degree turn from what I was on this site, and so I felt that my name needed to be changed as well to complete the turn. So, formerly WizardofallGenres, I am now wordsequalmight. I personally think this new name is more mature, because I am now older and more mature (both my writing and my behavior), but also it's a phrase that I now live by.

The events of the past are important in shaping the event of the future, and because there are written accounts of everything that happened. Newspapers, journals, diaries, books, laws, margin-writing... People don't realize that words have so much power. Words are the cornerstone of our society. Without words, we would be primitive. With words, written and spoken, people have changed the course of history and therefore words have shaped who we are today.

Anyone who can write is an author and anyone who has the bravery to put down words on a document and publish it on a site like this is an influence. As I underwent my change in style, I read a lot of FanFiction. I have been influenced by some great authors on this site and I have learned from reading their work. Again, people don't realize that words have so much power, but thankfully it's something I realized during my absence from this site.

I hope that anyone reading this realizes this as well.

OKAY, NOW LET'S DIVERGE FROM THE HEAVY STUFF.

Sorry about the above, but I felt strongly that it needed to be written. On a happier note, I have been updating my stories on a semi-regular basis (for those of you who knew me before the name change, you know how bad I was at updating). I am also beta-ing for a PJandtheO author Chaoses Angel, which is also a change, and have not written for any of my previous categories. I even went so far as to delete all of my older stories because they were VERY juvenile. I am not lying. They were pretty bad.

I enjoy writing a lot. I want to become an author someday, but right now that's not in the cards for me. My interest in marketing, public relations and journalism has taken over and if I'm going to be an author, it'll be something I do on the side. I have many friends who want to become authors, both in RL and here on FF, so I'm giving a shout out to all of those people because I think you're very brave in wanting to become a part of a significantly undervalued profession.

Don't forget the little people!

As you can probably see above, I now write for completely different categories. But I love it! I don't ask for reviews, but I do ask for feedback. I put this at the end of all my stories, but I only accept CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. Haters gonna hate, but don't do it where I can possibly read. Kay? You guys will discover that I can be quirky and nerdy. :)
