Why, hello there!

You can call Duwee Davis the second, a name combining my nickname (a slightly corrupted way of saying my surname) combined with a corruption of the spelling of my surname, along with the title 'II' because I'd like to be an aristocrat... I'd use my power a bit more wisely than most... I hope.

I'm an IT Consultant with a degree in Marine Biology. Maybe that means I'm smart, but it probably means I'm just a geek. Expect many an opaque science joke in my works.

Anyway, step into my office, I'll tell you what I like... and what I don't.

Likes:

Retro-styled games, Undertale especially (plus emulated classics), Valve FPSes, roleplaying, world-building, programming, writing, roleplaying...

Dislikes:

Uninspired things and sadism in real-life people. A good written sadist makes you hate them, but when I experience a real-life monster... it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Role Models:

Mr Cain- my old physics teacher- he's absolutely ace, loves his job, makes Physics so awesome, and is like a time lord at times...

Robert Swindell- A writer. Not many people have heard of him, he wrote a freakin' awesome post-apocalyptic novel called 'Brother in the land'.

Dr John Turner- My Tutor at University. He's like a mixture between Doctor Who and Mister Rogers. He just has... such a calm, intelligent air about him. It's hard to explain, but whenever you're around him you feel... at ease.

Favourite Characters:

Kyon (Haruhi Suzumiya): He's just so... sarcastic and objective despite the insane situations he's put through... such a realistic character is rare in fiction.

Fassad/Locria (Mother 3): A defective transvestite who laughs in an awesome way and abuses animals, yet has a very hidden soft side, as seen by his house... who doesn't love a good villain?

Yuki Nagato (Haruhi Suzumiya): Seriously, who doesn't love her? She's pure win! Adorable, monotone, and badass on the side.

Dr Ivo Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog): In his earlier days, Robotnik was baddass... hell, even his PINGAS days were fantastic. He's had a downward turn, but seems back to form.

Aya Shameimaru: Genki? Check. A reporter? Check. Hated as a paparazzi? Check. I dunno, something about Aya makes her the perfect comic relief, but you can imagine that when she doesn't hold back (which is never) she could actually kick ass.

News

I can safely say half of these fics are garbage, but I can't bring myself to delete them. I guess they're evidence of how far I've come. My magnum opus is likely Game of Touhou. Look above and decide on whether or not it needs a (possibly franchise-killing) sequel.
