Why, hello there!
You can call Duwee Davis the second, a name combining my nickname (a slightly corrupted way of saying my surname) combined with a corruption of the spelling of my surname, along with the title 'II' because I'd like to be an aristocrat... I'd use my power a bit more wisely than most... I hope.
I'm a Marine Biology and Zoology student at the great University of Bangor, Wales. I love both study and creativity, and I think I'm unique in that I use science to assist with my creative works, and at the very least, do the research into any subject I write on.
Anyway, step into my office, I'll tell you what I like... and what I don't.
Old games, emulators, PK Hack, anything EB/Mother related, the Playstation 1, banjo-kazooie/tooie, SSB and sequels, noodles (I often write while eating noodles), dogs (as a pet, not to eat), valve games, video game music, and science. Oh yeah, the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya as well. I never usually like anime but... for some reason I like this better... no stereotypical anime fight scenes (with the exception of that fight with Yuki).
I've also become somewhat obsessed with Touhou. It's like a whole host of framework characters, just waiting to be characterised!
People who believe graphics are everything in a game, racists (seriously, whats the point. We're all of the same sub-species, homo sapien sapien. Our differences physically are insignificant.), vain people, jocks, and time-wasters.
I am mid-way through a Death Note fic at the moment, although I'm sorta taking a mini-hiatus to work on other creative endeavours.
If you have any advice on how to improve my writing style, I'll happily hear them out, I don't take constructive critisism the wrong way... and any review causes my heart to do a backflip with joy, just like little Salsa...
Mr Cain- my old physics teacher- he's absolutely ace, loves his job, makes Physics so awesome, and is like a time lord at times...
Flint (Mother 3)- If only such a guy existed in the real world- Devoted entirely to his friends and family. His only flaw is his... somewhat obsessive routine when searching for Claus.
Robert Swindell- A writer. Not many people have heard of him, he wrote a freakin' awesome post-apocalyptic novel called 'Brother in the land'.
Dr John Turner- My Tutor at University. He's like a mixture between Doctor Who and Mister Rogers. He just has... such a calm, intelligent air about him. It's hard to explain, but whenever you're around him you feel... at ease.
Have some links
Ah, yes, links. Have this:

My Game of Touhou folder:
The maker of the comics of Game of Touhou:
Flint (Mother 3): Look above XD.
Kyon (Haruhi Suzumiya): He's just so... sarcastic and objective despite the insane situations he's put through... such a realistic character is rare in fiction.
Fassad/Locria (Mother 3): A defective transvestite who laughs in an awesome way and abuses animals, yet has a very hidden soft side, as seen by his house... who doesn't love a good villain?
Yuki Nagato (Haruhi Suzumiya): Seriously, who doesn't love her? She's pure win!
Dr Ivo Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog): In his earlier days, Robotnik was baddass... hell, even his PINGAS days were fantastic... shame he's kind of been killed off by Sega and replaced by failure...
Konata Izumi (Lucky Star): I find Lucky Star tedious as hell usually (Don't hate me guys), but when Konata says an awesome line that resonates with me, I can't help but love her...
Aya Shameimaru: Genki? Check. A reporter? Check. Hated as a paparazzi? Check. I dunno, something about Aya makes her the perfect comic relief, but you can imagine that when she doesn't hold back (which is never) she could actually kick ass.
UPDATE: Okay I take it back! Lucky Star is AWESOME! Shame it ended so soon...
These are my OCs, they're full on free to use. As long as you ask me before hand and tell me what kind of story they're gonna be used in, you can use them if you want. There's also concept OCs which never got past the mental editing process for obvious reasons...
Modia (Mother 3 arc): Briefly mentioned ex ring leader of the Magypsies in my 100 days arc. She/he's a kinder, less petty Magypsy who can't help but want to make sure that the Magypsies all fulfill their roles. However, her only purpose is to tell them their duty, and from then on he disappeared... see what I did there, with the pronouns? One of the few people who was as kind as possible to Locria.
Time-traveller Kunikida (Haruhi Suzumiya): While not an OC per se, it's still an original take on an otherwise relatively undeveloped character and make him significant. The future version of Kunikida, he happened to be the founder of time travel in Rom-com. He rips off Doc Brown shamelessly and happens to become a friend of the older Miss Asahina. He even named the prototype TPDD the flux capacitor. Shame!
Mateyuu Dawitsu (Touhou project) : A three-hundred or so year old Youkai with the mental attitude of an animé-loving teenager. He was born in the outside world, and has been brought up in human society inconspicuously. That said, he did have to fake his death every seventy years or so, but kept his name, claiming he was named after his 'father'. So technically, he's Mateyuu Dawitsu the fourth junior. He has a mansion devoted to all things geeky, and hates, among other things, onions, commitment and unfairness. Once he was spirited away to Gensokyo, he announced his presence in a foolhardy way- by stealing Flandre Scarlet's laevateinn. Not only that, but he treats Reimu and Marisa as if they're buddies of his, even though they think little of him. His most notable traits are his human-like compassion, but similarly human-like arrogance and haste. He's a good public speaker, and can make anything he wants sound somewhat sensible, even when it''s a stupid idea. His signature power is the ability to mimic and combine spellcards. He has trained up in various skills to perfect his mimicry, including large-scale mitosis, and small-scale manipulation of thermal energy. He's not actually that powerful beyond Danmaku, however. Scored 36 (fairly high) on the Mary-Sue litmus test... oh dear.
Yutaka Hadekawa (Touhou Project): The Shikigami of Mateyuu Dawitsu, she's a Magician Youkai who's about half the age of her Boss. That said. she's far more intelligent, patient, and generally in more control of her emotions than her Boss. She respects her boss despite this, and the two enjoy a close, almost hard to understand friendship. In fact, the two are so close that at first glance, they seem in love. However, this truly isn't the case. Unlike her boss, despite her Japanese heritage, she's not into animé, but still attempts to enjoy it with her boss when he asks her to watch. Being a magician, she's a bookish type, short and young-looking. Her ability is to manipulate her surroundings. This ability is useful both in and out of battle, but her pacifistic nature makes her more likely to use it for little things, like formulate the perfect ionic balance for chinese tea, or to make the perfect cosplay outfit. She, like her boss, was spirited away to Gensokyo. Scored a mere 15 on the Mary-Sue litmus test.
Jean-Franc Levoisier (Touhou Project): Jean-Franc is a somewhat recent OC from France in the Outside World, and is seemingly a normal human. Nothing about him is particularly unusual, he's simply a level-headed, kind-hearted person who despite his fluent knowledge of English, will occasionally have a snide remark or two to say in French so as to fall under the radar. Despite his slightly unkempt nature, he seems to be popular with the ladies, however, unlike Dawitsu, he's far too chivalrous to take up such an opportunity. Plus, a personal tragedy makes it a little difficult to get over his former love, Patricia...
Tokage Reiketsu (Touhou Project): Tokage Reiketsu is a Lizard Youkai from Mayohiga, and it seemed that before she received a certain slanderous newspaper article, her life was pretty boring. However, she now spends most, if not ALL of her time writing Fanfiction pairing the unfortunate Dawitsu and Yukari together in a nauseating manner extremely similar to Twilight. In fact, I kind of wrote her as an Expy of Stephanie Myers... although I've never described her, she dresses in a white dress with a purple not dissimilar from Yukari Yakumo, and has green hair and eyes, wearing half-lensed glasses.
Hebiko 'Bimyouna' (Touhou Project): Another Lizard Youkai who was formerly a friend of Tokage, but after she read her fiction, she soon decided to try and beat her at her own game, and has proven herself perfectly capable of doing so... unlike Tokage, her fiction has garnered Dawitsu's actual approval, and she insists that subtlety is the key to good writing, to the point where her pen-name changes her surname to the Japanese for subtle. Like Tokage, I never described her, but she dresses in red, having red-brown, extremely messy hair that covers her eyes. She is also considerably thinner than Tokage, as has slightly bad posture.
Tomasu Dawitsu (Sort of Touhou, from the outside world): Tomasu Dawitsu is a not-so-developed OC. He's Mateyuu Dawitsu's younger brother. Whereas Mateyuu inherited the Dawitsu mansion from his father (he gave them it before he died, as he figured that he wouldn't be dying for a while. He was correct, and Ned Dawitsu is still very much alive and kicking), Tomasu inherited a huge wad of cash. He invested it well, and opened a sea-life centre. His ability to control fish means he can herd together and catch some of the rarest fish in the world, and his understanding of Marine biology is exceeded by no-one in the world. His business is thriving thanks to the exotic species he keeps. He has a low-maintenance artificial habitat system in place- a true ecological genius.
Ned, Helen and Rowena (related to Dawitsu): Ned is the father of Mateyuu and Tomasu Dawitsu. He's obsessed with pointless yet nifty technology. He's also the quickest one to assume Mateyuu's a bit on the perverted side (not that he's wrong) and has the ability to control semi and super conducting material, and had invented the silicon chip 200 years prior to the humans of the outside world. Helen is the mother of Mateyuu and Tomasu Dawitsu. She's a concerned, well-wishing mother who's at times pushy, but ultimately caring. She was the first relative to meet Yutaka Hadekawa, and thought (like many) that Dawitsu and her were dating. She can control and percieve ultrasonic vibrations. Rowena is Ned's wife, and unlike Ned and Helen, is a normal human. She is famous for her extravagant birthday parties, which always involve fancy dress.
OCs from the trash. Feel free to use, but edit the personalities to be better than what I've come up with:
Cain Adamson (Touhou, again...): Based on my friend, his ability is to read the future. I didn't really get much beyond that, but he is a simple-minded individual who likes to keep the future a mystery, as if he told people, it'd be like he gave them his ability. He wears a checked shirt, has long hair and an unshaven beard.
Rikiko Yakumo (Touhou, yawn): Yukari's younger sister who has the ability to manipulate beginnings and ends. A bit more of a smart alec than her sister, she dresses Androgynously, wearing a suit and a trilby hat, while donning a Parasol. She's got blonde, curly hair, and a thinner figure, less shapely figure than her big sister. Their relationship seems strained, mainly because she looks younger than Yukari- people assume she's the seventeen year old.

Yo, my fanfic, Touhou Doujin: Question Time, has been taken down. To be fair, I was breaking the site regulations doing it. I just wanted to test my characterisation technique to the full. But I was also breaking the rules, so meh. It happens. Thank you for the support of the thing, and I'm sorry I didn't get round to answering all of your questions...
