Author has written 2 stories for Parasite Eve, and Mega Man.
I am the terror that flaps in the night...no, wait, that's already been done. Okay, I am the college grad with nothing better to do than sit here and punch buttons. But I would like to get published at some point, and this is a great place for feedback, so please read and review my stories!
Well, that was what I said in 2001 or 2002, whenever it was that I first registered, basically because I had nothing better to say. So, here's the update: Life happened!! Since I first registered, I graduated college (a Bible degree, if you're interested); got married to the world's most beautiful, engaging, awesome woman; moved to a new state (to Virginia from West Virginia, again if you're interested); became a prison guard, of all things (five years and counting);and had (well, okay, my wife had) two beautiful children, conspicuously NOT named Nathaniel and Superfly (my apologies to Weird Al Yankovic). The bottom line on all that is that I'll probably never get published after all--who has that kind of time? Stephen King can keep his literary throne, he has nothing to fear from me. But I still like to write, and now, I occasionally even find the time for it. I'm compiling this profile in April 2008, so here's where I stand right now: There are a few ideas on the back burner, but getting started is hard, so it'll be a while before I can actually get them on here. Parasite Eve: The Other is on temporary hold, not because I lost interest, but because I can only seem to concentrate on one story at a time. Right now, that one story is Megaman Legends: The Traitor, for which chapter five (a much longer chapter than before), subtitled "Aberration," should be posted in about another week, I hope. Love that particular world, and I think my particular vision of it is pretty good, even if it isn't entirely what the guys at Capcom had in mind. Still, if you are a fan of Parasite Eve, hang in there--I haven't given up on it yet!
Thanks to everyone who reads and reviews. I suppose that some people don't take this seriously, but I do, and I truly appreciate every bit of feedback. If you're interested in more of my work, I also have a few short selections--one fiction, one essay--on the sister site, www.fictionpress.com, under the same screen name. Thanks again!!
