Hello! Any nickname based on my username is cool to call me by, but I generally use DCF for this account. I am 24 years old, going to grad school this fall. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I'm mainly on AO3 these days, under TanteiKID13. I'm doing a rewrite of The War of the Wizarding World, and the new version will likely have a different title. That one will be posted here, but the majority of my newer works will probably be only on AO3.

I like to think of myself as a decent writer, but I often get writer's block and sometimes I just get disenchanted with a particular pairing or story. If you happen to spot anything that strikes you as dialogue-heavy or any other things that make my stories more difficult to read, please feel free to point them out. My tenses have a habit of wandering mid-story, which I'm also working on. I'm very unreliable with my writing, so updates tend to have a while between them, especially with longer chapters.

I'm not as fond of some of my older works, so while they won't be coming down, they probably won't get priority for any sort of writing. I plan on finishing everything eventually, but it likely won't be for a while.

Stories I Am Writing/Have Written (Alphabetical Order):

Beauty and the Trickster: Completed: I had been reading old versions of fairy tales and ran across an old version of Beauty and the Beast where Beauty simply asks for a rose while her sisters ask for expensive trinkets. Then I thought that there was obviously magic in that world and how exactly would that sort of magic fit in with Shinichi and his job. Then I ended up focusing on the romance because I'm secretly a total romantic.
Summary: Shinichi is looking into the missing persons case of Kuroba Kaito when he meets Kid, a man who ran afoul of a witch and who must fall in love in order to be able to return to his normal life. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast. One-shot.

The Creation of the Heal Card: Completed: My feminist side got the better of me and raged that the girl was always being saved and protected, even when she was perfectly capable of defending herself. This was born. My inner feminist was partially appeased, but I decided to make sure that none of my female characters would be like that.
Summary: When Syaoran is injured in battle, Sakura is not happy. One-shot. Rated T because I'm paranoid. SS

The Dimension Traveler: Completed: I like this one. It's one of my favorite things that I have ever written. I had a lot of fun writing it and Harry is a very... interesting character in this. He kind of dominated and I was amused enough to simply allow that.
Summary: When another Harry shows up during the final battle, people get confused. Hilarity ensues. One-shot.

Evasive Maneuvers: Completed: One-shot. Sorry to anyone who might be expecting it, but I won't be giving Ran's reaction for this. I just don't think I could write it well. Feel free to write it, but please credit me if you do!
Summary: Shinichi is not ready to give The Talk to his child. Evasive maneuvers ensue. Ran was going to kill him for this. One-Shot.

Everything Seems Fine: Completed: A one-shot. Sad and slightly bittersweet for poor Conan. It's inspired by the last line. Written at the same time as Only Human
Summary: When everything seems fine, nothing is going right. When they smile, they're in pain. They don't want you to worry though so it stays hidden until it's too late. WARNING: Character Death. One-shot.

Fake Smiles and True Happiness: Completed: I'll probably write the continuation of this one eventually. The continuation, if it happens, will have a happy ending for Tomoyo and it will be ExT.
Summary: Tomoyo can't let go yet. One day, she will, but today... Today she's still smiling. One-Shot

Harry Potter and the Snake Chimera: Series of One-shots: FullMetal Alchemist and Harry Potter Crossover! It was also inspired by one of the lines. Some people put it on Story Alert so I decided to make a few more one-shots. They'll all be unconnected unless stated otherwise.
Summary: When accused of being a snake chimera during the final battle, Voldemort is not amused. One-Shot

Mask: Completed: So, this is obviously somewhat inspired by Shinichi having his own secret identity, but that's mainly because of the way everything is handled in the forever unfinished Masks of Identity. The outline for this was pretty much me just wanting Shinichi's and Kaito's identities to meet in different combinations before sort of having all of their identities meet, as in the last section. It was originally part of my Twenty-Six Themes collection, but I think I'll be breaking those into individual stories.
Summary: Truth is an unknown masked crusader. Kid is the phantom thief that keeps crossing paths with them, whether he knows it or not.

Only Human: Completed: Written at the same time as Everything Seems Fine, but has a totally different tone. It's basically what Conan thinks of the Kaitou Kid. Also inspired by one of the lines in the story.
Summary: Kaito is watching a news interview for his heist after the fact and sees the woman interview his favorite critic. One of the answers surprises him. One-shot.

Shinichi Is Dressing Up: Complete: I just wanted to write a story that started with, "He stared," or some derivative of it and so Shinichi Is Dressing Up was born! It is my first Detective Conan fanfic (first posted fanfic ever, actually), so please be nice! It is a short, hopefully funny, one-shot.
Summary: Shinichi is dressing up... So what if it is against his will?

The Thief Angel: On Hiatus: Crossover between Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and D.N. Angel. I may eventually add Detective Conan in there, but that is undecided. I'm kind of running low on inspiration for this one, so it'll be a bit before I get back to it, but I eventually will. My apologies to anyone reading it.
Summary: What happens if Kaitou Jeanne, Kaitou Sinbad and Dark Mousy are all after the same painting? Of course, Kaitou Jeanne and Kaitou Sinbad are on the same team. And Dark doesn't like competition.

Twenty-Six Themes: In Progress: This is a self-imposed challenge. There are some I really like and some that I'm simply okay with. It's KaiShin and ShinRan. Every chapter title will tell you which one it is. It probably won't be too popular simply because I know a lot of people avoid pairings they don't like and most people don't like both of these pairings. Oh well. It's my baby. I may eventually split it into two stories, with each only having one pairing.
Summary: Twenty-six Chapters, each with their own story, with a prompt with one letter of the alphabet. All of them will be either KaiShin or ShinRan. Rating for later chapters.

The War of the Wizarding World: Being Rewritten: This one will be very long. It spans two years in HP time, plus an epilogue about ten years later. Edward will be at Hogwarts and Roy will be at the Ministry for the first year, although that isn't always the case. Both are collecting information. The second year is when the war breaks out. The military is attacking all English wizards, regardless of whether they are Death Eaters or the Order. Some of the military are also wizards. There is character death, injury, and dissension in the ranks. Some hate magic but are willing to use it to win, and others are okay with it and simply eliminating the threats English wizards pose to them. This one is basically forcing me to write it! It may be more than hints of DracoxHarry later, but I'll have to write it first to see.
Note: This is being worked on, but, with me trying to make it have rather long chapters, updates will be insanely slow. Also, characterization is a bit hard because many of the events of the series may or may not have happened at all.
Summary: A war is brewing and the Fuhrer will be prepared. Amestris has always been a military power and it’s time everyone else remember that. The battle will be bloody, but they will fight. 5th year, AU - No homunculi, RoyEd, HR, Hints of DracoxHarry
