Author has written 4 stories for Stargate: SG-1, Halo, Mass Effect, and Battlestar Galactica: 2003.
When Humanity ventured into space using the Mass Relays, it never occurred to anyone to ask for permission.
The Turians said that their actions at the Shanxi-Theta Relay were the "equivalent to snatching a gun away from a child."
Charles Saracino, leader of Terra Firma, replied, "Yes, I would take the gun away from the child, but I wouldn't shoot them dead!"
Things you should know:
So, I’ve been asked if I’m still working on Phoenix Effect or Fall of the Gods in general. I’d just like to clarify that I am, but it's not being posted very often and I apologize for that. I haven't had internet at my house in over three months, and just got it back recently (recently defined as of 10-10-13). The most update to Phoenix Effect I posted from school, so don't get the wrong idea there, but they're all essentially on hold for now. I finally, after having been at this nearly four years now, FINALLY figured out how I want this series to end. I also, after months of being confused, found out what a Garry Sue is. Long story short, I'm in the process of fixing some MAJOR plot holes, most of which revolve around the first two book since those two set up the two worlds that come together in the rest of the series.
When I'm done with that, I'll be reposting Colonials on the Run as a new story instead of posting over the old one. I know I've done this before, but this time it's because I realize what I did wrong, as opposed to before when it was just to fix the more pressing grammar issues. I know most of you won't want to reread the story a third time, but I'll tell you this much up front; the similarities will be unmistakable, but the differences will be breathtaking. To start with, I've extended the whole 'Send us delegates and we'll talk' speal between the Odyssey and Galactica from taking only five chapters to reach before the Ori chase them away to taking closer to ten chapters during which some shit goes down. This allows for the two crews to get to know one another BEFORE it all goes to hell.
Also, I'm drastically altering the personalities in the characters. It's been brought to my attention by more than one trusted source that I totally missed represented the attitude a military team would have towards one another and their fellow officers. As such, there's going to be some major changes in that regard as well. I’m now taking hints from former military personnel who have served in everything from the Army Rangers to the Air Force. With more accurate data, I’ll have a better representation, but, and, also in the name of fair warning, that means an increase in the amount of swearing that’s in the book. Apparently, and I have people who served six years in the infantry who will vouch for me on this, when not in the presence of their superior officer, most members of the military say ‘fuck’ about every fifth word. Just saying…
Also, and this will round up this explanation, I’m almost done with college, I graduate in February, so I’ll have either more time to devote to writing because I won’t have school, or even less time because I’ll be working that much. Given that most people in my profession work sixteen hour days and I only go to school for seven hours right now, I predict a decrease in time available, but never ask me if I’ve abandoned the series, that’s just not going to happen. No offense, but screw y’all. I write this because I enjoy it, not because you do. I’ll keep going until either it’s finished, or it’s not fun, but I don’t see that second one happening until old and have arthritis and it hurts to type. Anyway…
The evens of Colonials on the Run and Phoenix Effect coincide with each other.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW... WHAT A RIDE !!"
Have a great life and remember, do not use a hammer to remove a bug from your friend's forehead.
