Things you didn't really need to know:
Still not really doing anything, sorry xD. But that's not why I'm here. I spotted this in a Medabot author's summary. I won't mention the name-- but I reviewed a story of her's with constructive criticism and then checked out her profile.
'If you don't review, I won't keep writing.'
-- Is that what it's all about now? No one can just write for the sake of writing? I admit that, yeah, reviews make me feel good, make me feel like people are appreciating my hard work. It's nice to get reviews. But it shouldn't be the only reason we write. It's like saying the only reason I'm nice to someone is so they'll be friends with me. I'm nice because that's who I am, that's who I was raised to be. Doing it just so someone likes you or gives you something is selfish. Not writing the rest of your story just because you don't get reviews is just attention whorish.
So-- yeah. Maybe the only reason we post something on ff.net is so we know other people get to see it. Or we hope anyway. I can understand that. But lots of people don't get reviews, a lot of them are the people who deserve it too. I know Nekoian doesn't get the reviews she deserves.
