Author has written 2 stories for Warriors.
So, welcome to my profile page and... yes... well, have a good time here (does that sound weird???). I suppose I may as well say that I'm not really very active on this account anymore, writing-wise. I do all my reviewing and PMing (or, almost all of it) on this account but I've got another one that I've primarily moved onto :). But please feel free to check out my favourites list and my quotes list and even my own story list (don't expect anything too great though as I wrote those stories a little while ago now and it's frankly quite embarrassing to look back on them...).
Favourite Quotes of Mine (there are a lot of them):
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called 'present'" - Kung Fu Panda.
"Asking a writer what he thinks about criticism is like asking a lamppost what it feels about dogs." John Osborne
"A writer is somebody for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people." Thomas Mann (being vain enough to count myself as an amateur writer, I can't help but agree with him).
"To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower/Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour" - William Blake.
"I'd rather be caught holding up a bank than stealing so much as a two-word phrase from another writer."
"Write your first draft with your heart. Re-write with your head." From the movie Finding Forrester (admittedly, I haven't watched the movie, but I came across this quote and I thought: 'Amazing')
"Opera is where a guy gets stabbed in the back, and in stead of dying, he sings." - Robert Benchley
"Somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a note on the windscreen, it said, 'Parking Fine.' So that was nice" - Tommy Cooper.
"I got home and the phone was ringing. I picked it up, and said, 'Who's speaking please?' And a voice said, 'You are.'" - Tommy Cooper
"In a nutshell, just be good and kind to your children, because they are the ones who can eventually sign you into the home." - Dennis Miller (take THAT, Dad).
"Go out into the world today and love the people you meet. Let your presence light new light in the hearts of people." - Mother Teresa
"To have no time for philosophy is to be a true philosopher." - Blaise Pascal
"Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive." - Elbert Hubbard (God, I love that quote)
"The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason of all evil, of pain, and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." - Lao-Tze
"You were born an original. Don't die a copy." - John Mason
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." - Walt Disney.
And, last one:
"Cause change and lead. Accept change and survive. Resist change and die." - Ray Norda
