Author has written 7 stories for Twilight, and Hey Arnold.
So, I should probably put myself into a context here, no?
White middle class female, from the ass-end of the pacific.
I do this as a weird sort of continuous escape from the stresses of general life.
Um, personally-wise: I'm into reading, both poetry and prose. I'm one of them alturists, when it comes to animals, at least. I drink heaps of coffee... in the immortal words of Max "I'm a coffee achiever". Love gaming, but strategy/puzzle/adventure games, not shoot-em-ups.
I'm approaching 30, so although I get that trolls are the minority here, if a teenager starts telling me that sex/abuse/etc isn't 'realistic', I'm just going to laugh, then delete the review (because, as we know, the trolls only ever post anonymously). No hate for teenagers in general though... some of the best people I know are tender in years.
At the risk of sounding like one of them surly types, I'm a realist, and I try to write as such. I'm constantly surprised at the conservative assumptions people make about my stories. I don't care about religion, and I'm not about to insert any of those sorts of values into my story-lines, unless it's to serve a particular purpose. So (although I don't assume that everyone who generously grants me reviews will read this... but just in case...) please don't assume that the context I am writing from is a Christian-centric one... It's not that I actively try to go against those kinds of social constructs, it's that they don't enter my head at all until it's brought up in the reviews.
Also, if you're going to ask me questions, please make sure that you have PM's enabled?
Lastly, to those who do read my little ramblings, and review, and allegedly enjoy what I write? Thanks :)
