Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Avengers.
For some context, here's a quick bio:
School: Should be in my fourth year of University with a studio art major (I've never drawn Snarry either, how strange!) BUT I'm taking a short haitus due to a family tragedy
Interests: Art, the environment, nature, animals, trees, colour, hiking, writing, philosophy, hating on extreme right-wingers, slash, sparkly things blah blah
I love writing, but strangely I've never bothered to write a fanfiction, despite the fact I read them quite often. Being a Snarry fan, there is certainly no shortage of stories to peruse, but I find it difficult because I have quite a few expectations when it comes to that pairing. Number one- No OOC, just as much as needed for the two to build a relationship. Two, No AU's, with the exception of Snape's death never happening. Three, it needs to be decently written.
I don't have the patience to read anything longer than 50,000 words when it comes to fanfiction, and anything under 1000 never feels like enough. I used to like M-rated stuff, but with this pairing, I tend to like the fluffier, softer stuff. I like to think that if Snape survived the war, he would loosen the stick from his ass a little. What I mean is, he went out of his way to be nasty to Harry, but I don't believe he is like that with colleagues, and he and Harry have the ability to become somewhat amicable.
So, when considering how picky I am, I almost never come across one that meets my silly requirements. Out of the blue, I made the decision to start my own Snarry story. I've discovered that, for me at least, writing fan fiction is FAR more difficult than writing anything else. I'm much better at creating my own characters and settings than trying (and probably failing) to mimic someone else's. This may well be my first and last foray into fanfiction, but maybe someone out there will like it.
