Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Kingdom Hearts, Avatar: Last Airbender, and South Park.
Recently, I've been dabbling (or rather, have allowed myself to be entirely pulled) in a fandom I'd sworn I'd never write for, Kingdom Hearts. I suppose I can take a modicum of comfort in knowing that I'm not writing based on the game's continuity. I would like to get back into Harry Potter (if only so I can write third gen fics and screw with canon by writing gratuitous Harry/Luna) and am very interested in writing something for xxxHOLiC (I do have a WIP piece on the backburner) and South Park (I've got a little project in the works for the kids). Additionally, I've been stewing on an idea for Bully/Canis Canem Edit, but I may not post it on this account; I have a separate account for pieces I'm not sure about and this one is one I'm REALLY not sure about.
I adore reading well-written fiction, but I've become incredibly hard-to-please when in-character portrayals are concerned. It's hit me hardest in the South Park fandom, so I'm rather picky about what I'll favourite.
Lately I've been delving into the dark recesses of the Psychonauts category (and by lately I mean the last two years...), rediscovering Bully, introducing myself to South Park with much enthusiasm, and wishing still that someone with amazing writing skills would join The Seventh Tower's tiny don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it fandom.
As you can see, I'm largely a gen fic writer and I'm not entirely sure how that happened, seeing as I'm fond of 'shipping; it's happened nonetheless. What's more is that I'm sure you'll have noticed that there's a good bit of angst/drama going on in my writings as well... I'd like to think that my angst style has matured over the years. I'm attempting to write more humour, friendship, and general fluff, but I must say that angst comes easily. Gotta step out of your comfort zone eventually, I guess, yes?
So yeah, this is me... Growing more restless by the minute.
Kingdom Hearts: Phases I-III (Divergence, Severed Chains, and Retribution)- This is actually a collaborative project and I'll be posting my contributions (in no real order). I think it goes without saying that this is a Kingdom Hearts Alternate Universe series, and when I say AU, I don't mean what most writers mean- that is to say this isn't parallel universe where canon characters are running rampant and painfully OOC. The story starts out the same as it does in the first game, but a few seemingly minor events in the very beginning will completely change the outcome of the original KH storyline... in fact, those minor incidents will restructure the whole storyline as we know it... that's where the fun comes in. Kairi, Selphie, and Fuu are thrown together on a journey across the worlds as they fight the fights that (in game canon) should be Sora's, but this time it's not just Riku who's standing in the way. In progress.
A Cadence in Memorandum (Series)- (Avatar: The Last Airbender) I have a few more follow ups/related one-shots in the works that follow the established events in ACIM. Most of the follow ups will likely focus on Zuko and Toph's unlikely friendship bonding, some will probably be 'shippy, others just focussing on their bond as diplomatic BFFs. In progress.
Title Pending- (South Park) This project is being prepared with humour in mind. Upon learning of the outrageous amount of influence the SGA has over South Park High, Cartman joins, not realising that one Wendy Testaburger is a long-time student government enthusiast. By their junior year, Cartman and Wendy are going head-to-head in a power struggle for presidency more intense than anything the senior high has ever known. Meanwhile, Stan has a minor existential crisis. Possibly Wendy/Cartman, other 'ships pending as well. Planning in progress.
Cartman in Wonderland- (South Park) This whole fic/one-shot is pending, really. I think the title's explanatory. Planning in progress.
Title Pending- (Psychonauts) Another story that may not see the light of day in any form other than drawings. A nineteen-year-old Razputin has made himself comfortable at Whispering Rock as a counsellor-in-training, but life as a Psychonaut calls him away on an assignment to sort out the mess of thoughts housed in the mind of a clinically insane former soldier who has more than a few mother issues tucked away. What's worse, Raz has an unexpected tag-along who's far more a hindrance than a help; the youngest Psychnonaut figures things could be worse, he's just not sure how.
