Author has written 2 stories for Twilight, Harry Potter, and Merlin.
Hey everyone! I'm Minnie (obviously not my real name ;P I will get to an explanation of that later) and this is my profile :D :) Welcome to my profile!
A bit about the stories I'm currently writing:
"My Twilight" is about the girl Michelle and how her seemingly normal life is just about to turn into her own Twilight adventure. "Twilight AU". An Edward/OC story. (Is currently on hiatus, but don't worry :) I'll get back to writing more as soon as the writers-block has gone away - hopefully it won't take too long.)
My other story "Forces Of Destiny" is a HP/Merlin crossover, and about how The Golden Trio, Draco Malfoy and my OC, Lyra Dunham, accidentally end up in the past with a young Merlin trying to conceal his powers in a kingdom where magic is forbidden. Evil powers from the past reunite with those of the future in an attempt at once and for all to finally get rid of their enemies.
It's currently up and running so check it out if you want :) (And please leave a comment on what you think of the story :D
Here's a little about me: (Since English isn't my first language, don't mind the mistakes)
You're probably wondering why on earth I would call myself Minnie (you know - meaning 'small') but here's the how and why:
Before transferring to another High School, my newfound friends liked to call me Minnie, because I had a habit of wearing a bow just like Minnie Mouse xD (Yup I'm all about disney characters :P) I still wear one occasionally, but not as often as I used to. (Besides, Minnie is a much shorter and more... well, shorter name than Mitch, Mimia and Mitchell - and yes I know, those names are absolutely ridiculous xP)
I honestly LOVE to write and have at least 20 or more stories on my mind (at the same time :P) Two of them are currently out in the open ("My Twilight" being on hiatus) but I hope to publish more stories in the future :)
I almost constantly listen to music (it's my inspiration source - my muse :D) And I can listen to almost everything - except for heavy metal or songs where I can't understand the text - (There has to be an understandable text or else I can't connect it to the story/chapter I'm writing)
Reading books is one of my favorite free time activities :) To sit in my bed with a book in my hands... now that sounds like heaven to me XD (Especially if the books are about fantasy. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a crazy fantasy shipper ;P Oh! And Star Wars mind you :D I'm in LOVE with that series xD)
My crazes at the moment are:
* The Sookie Stackhouse novels (you gotta love vampires - especially the evil ones *grin*)
* Harry Potter (I've finally come back to my crazy fan days of this story!)
* BBC's series "Merlin" (Hello, you get the chance to see the greatest wizard of all time be a clumsy, gangly servant who just about has the cutest personality? Why did no one ever think of that series before? *slaps forehead* xD)
* Star Wars (when I was about ten I was REALLY into it - I still am. I'll tell you a little secret though: when I was watching the third and last movie in the series, and Anakin had turned evil and Padme was trying make him see what he was doing - I cried. Not only the 'a-couple-of-tears' crying, but I REALLY cried. It was so embarrassing, but it only shows how much I can live myself into a story. I hope it somehow shows in my writing - the way I "feel" the story :D)
* Twilight( but that ones quieted down a lot. I'm not checking for updates on Breaking Dawn anymore but just waiting for the movie to finally come out ;D I was in a HUGE Twilight phase in 2008 but lately it has calmed down CONSIDERABLY. Luckily... My friends aren't exactly as big fans of it as I am *sheepish smile*)
* "A Very Potter Musical", "A Very Potter Sequel", "Me And My Dick", "Little White Lie" and absolutely EVERYTHING else by Starkid Productions. (You seriously HAVE to go to Youtube right now, watch AVPM and immediately tell me what you think of it :D It's bloody brilliant I tell you! xD)
Well I know that doesn't say all too much, but here's where it gets a little more detailed:
HOBBIES: I love to read, listen to music, write stories (both fan fiction and some I think of publishing), (But I already told you that xD) I simply LOVE to watch my favorite movies over and over and over again... I really like watching TV series right now, True Blood, Merlin & Fringe being my favorite series :D
FAVORITE BOOKS: Ohh, where to start?
The Sookie Stackhouse novels
"The Twilight Saga" (The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" included)
"Harry Potter" (who doesn't love the series about the Golden Trio getting into more and more danger as the years pass? Oh! And let's not forget Voldy! xD Oh how I love calling the evil bastard that. It makes him seem less intimidating, right? ;P)
Jane Austen books (though "Pride and Prejudice" is my favorite of them :D)
Edgar Allan Poe
"The Diary of Anne Frank"
"The Golden Compass- series"
A danish book called "Martin & Victoria"
"Stardust" (I have to admit, I do like the movie a tiny inch better than the book - and that's a first for me)
H.C. Andersen (in case you haven't guessed who that is: the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. If you still don't know who that is, I suggest you go see the movie "The Little Mermaid" which Disney made a lovely movie out of :) Only, the "real" story isn't all fluffy-duffy happy. It's rather tragic. Oh! Almost forgot! Back to my favorite books :P)
"The Spiderwick Chronicles" (Those books are so adorable! :D And Freddie Highmore in the movie - just yum! To think that he's actually a little older than me! Wow.)
Almost forgot! "The Chronicles of Narnia"! I loved those books!
"The Other Boleyn Girl" (I am a sucker for old and classy stories :P Especially about the Middle Ages and stuff like that xD)
FAVORITE MUSIC: See, that's a difficult one for me. I like most genres of music, but not the kind where you can't hear the text anymore and headbang almost all of the time (believe me, after my brother went through that period when he was 12-13, I'm never touching another heavy metal album ever again - I swear! And if you're ready to believe me it got worse with age: he's now one of those Rap-type of guys... *sigh* what a change huh? [If he only knew what real music was ;P])
FAVORITE MOVIES: Yay! Finally something where I can list all my 87 favorite movies! (Just kiddin' ya'! :P) But I do have 87 DVDs in my shelves. Along with even more books, and 3 TV-series (hopefully my collection will grow in the future ;D) But, well, I kind of think you're able to guess my favorite movies from my favorite books, right?
Here's a list of them anyway:
"Alice In Wonderland" (directed by Tim Burton of course ;D)
"Harry Potter"1-6(yes I know it's terrible! I haven't seen part 1 of the 7th yet! :S)
The "Star Wars" movies (LOL) (...well, since not that many girls are fans I'm proud to say that I'm both a GIRL and a FAN :D LoL)
"Pride and Prejudice"1995(now that one is even better than the one with Keira Knightly. And if you don't believe me, watch it yourselves - you'll be pleasantly surprised to find out that it lasts more than 5 hours :) Quite enough to capture ALL of the book :D)
"Pirates of the Carribean" (Johnny Depp + Jack Sparrow = my idols! I mean it's Jack Sparrow! Savvy?), every movie directed by Tim Burton (that man's a genious! Without him I wouldn't have known Freddie Highmore before "The Spiderwick Chronicles"!)
"Pans Labyrith"(dark yet extremely fasinating. It shows how real the fantasy of children can be.)
"Romeo & Juliet" (yup, now the romantic side of me pops out. But I'm not talking of the one with Leonardo DiCaprio. Of course, that one's nice too, but I like the 1968 version better.)
Oh! And not to forget - "Peter Pan" 2003. (I just have one thing to say: Go home Disney Peter! 'Cause the real one just stepped into the room! :D)
"The Julekalender" (Those of you who aren't Danish won't understand why I think this ones brilliant xD But let's just say that it's because of three pixies with red pointy hats and long ears, who speak a mixed language of Danish and English. Hilarious! xD)
Jack Sparrow: "... This is the day that you will ALWAYS remember as the day that you..." *Minnie finishes sentence: "almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow"* xD
backs up and trips over ledge - Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl -
Ron Weasley: "Hermione, Neville's right - you are a girl..."
Hermione: "Oh well spotted." - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the book) -
Edward: "Only on one condition."
Bella: "Condition? What condition?"
Edward: "Marry me first."
Bella: "Okay, what's the punch line?"
Edward: "You're wounding my ego, Bella. I just proposed to you and you think it's a joke." - Eclipse (the book)-A bit from the BBC TV-series "Merlin" (perhaps a bit is a little exaggeration :P But thanks to the books for lending me the way to write the quotes properly :D)
Merlin: "Yeah, I'd never have a friend who could be such an ass."
Arthur: "Or I, one who could be so stupid."
Arthur: "Tell me Merlin, d'you know how to walk on your knees?"
Arthur: "I could take you apart with one blow."
Merlin: "I could take you apart with less than that."
Arthur: "Oh thank God, I thought you were deaf as well as dumb."
Merlin: "I've told you, you're an ass - I just didn't realize you were a royal one."
Arthur: "I warn you, I've been trained to kill since birth."
Merlin: "Wow - and how long have you been training to be a prat?"
Arthur: "You can't talk to me like that."
Merlin: "Sorry. How long have you been training to be a prat, my lord?"
Merlin bows mockingly
Gwen: "Im Guinevere, but most people call me Gwen. I'm the Lady Morgana's maid."
Merlin: "Right. I'm Merlin. Although most people call me 'idiot'."
Gwen: "No, I saw what you did. It was so brave."
Merlin: "It was stupid."
Gwen: "Well I'm glad you turned away. You weren't going to beat him."
Merlin: "Oh I could beat him."
Gwen: "Yeah? You think? Because you don't look like one of those big muscly fellows..."
Gwen: "No, I'm sure you're stronger than you look... It's just - Arthur's one of those real rough, tough save-the-world kind of men and, well..."
Gwen: "You don't look like that."
Merlin tilts his head in indication for her to come closer.
Merlin: "I'm in disguise."
Okay, maybe it wasn't as long as I'd thought it would be... (more to come later!)
