An Announcement of Sorts:

I cannot thank everyone here enough for their support, willingness to help, listen, laugh, and love. Seeing the Veritas as a community makes me so happy to realize what a great thing I'm part of. There will be squabbles, and people will be hurt, but at the end of the day, all I see is people helping other people. When I need help, I don't turn to my 'friends'. I turn to you. It really has been a ginormous part of my life since May, and you've made these times the best of my life. No matter how dire the situation, I can count on you. A few particular names come to mind, but everyone here plays a role in the tapestry that has become the Veritas. I know I haven't been here that long, and I have no claim to say this, but I really think that we have changed and I like it. As a wise person once said, "The only constant is change- and the Veritas." =) No matter how different, we'll always be the same. Were all bonded together by one thing, the love to write. And if we move on, decide writing isnt our forte, we still have the writer friends we made when we were young at and stupid and on the Internet. I love all of you more than words can say, so I will stop trying. I cant capture and put into words how happy I am to be a part of something so magical. It was created by the help of Mystic Godly Powers, and some pixie dust, but mostly by about 40 teenagers who love to write. And I can wait to see what it will turn out to be. And I know this is getting really sappy, so before you guys start throwing up on your computer screen, I'd like to say thank you.

Merry Christmas, Veritaville.
