![]() Author has written 11 stories for Cars, Phantom Stallion, Tangled, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lord of the Rings, Ranger's Apprentice, and Harry Potter. *Cars stories Taking the Heat and Not Who I Am are on hiatus; health issues don't permit me to write much at the moment.* Name: Nope. Age: 20's Lives: Midatlantic My username/pen-name is off of the fact that in the Wild Horse Island books, Jonah makes it a point to remind Darby that, while her horse is a mustang, his ranch is a quarter horse ranch. I am chronically ill with severe Lyme Disease among other things. I am extremely open to questions. Ask away. I can do medical betaing, depending on what you're after. Some of my favorite movies/tv/whatever: Cars, Narnia (LWW only...), Star Trek TOS and AOS, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, BBC Sherlock, Stargate: Atlantis, Mushishi, Ouran Host Club, Fruits Basket, Veggietales, Rise of the Guardians, HttYD, and I'm still in the "WHY" stage of reacting to the LOTR movies, but I may come around. In the Cars fandom I ignore Cars 2 for the most part, and Planes. I love the original movie and what it stands for. ...And Doc. Also Doc. ;) Some books and authors I like: Charles Dickens, Phantom Stallion, Wild Horse Island, RANGER'S APPRENTICE, High Hurdles (series by Lauraine Snelling), Eight Cousins, Joan Bauer, Shelley Peterson, Narnia, the Screwtape Letters, LORD OF THE RINGS (*fangirling*), Unicorn Chronicles, Rick Riordan... AND HARRY POTTER WHY DID I NOT READ THIS UNTIL NOW ZBXCZJKSRARWJFDAH I literally have...I think over 1,000 books on my reading list. No, I am not joking. I have a horse obsession, so I read a lot of horse books, but I am very picky about them. I can rant for ages about plot lines I don't like or series that annoy me, but I shan't do it here. :P Hobbies: stuffing my Ravenclaw brain with information, writing, reading, drawing (horses), singing, playing piano, collecting Breyer horses, riding real horses. You are never too old for Breyer horses, not when you're 15, not when you're 25, and certainly not when you're 55! ;) A lot of equestrians don't like Dressage, but I love it. Some things I would like to do in the future: ride an Andalusian, ride a draft horse, finish all my fanfiction and original fiction stories, learn to play violin and guitar. Oh, and I'm from the South and can assure you that unsweet tea tastes like dirt. ;) One day a man was walking along a beach. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Off in the distance he could see a young boy going back and forth between the surf's edge and and the beach. Back and forth the boy went. As the man approached, he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand as the result of the natural action of the tide. The man was stuck by the the apparent futility of the task. There were far too many starfish. Many of them were sure to die. As he approached, the boy continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them back into the sea. As he came up to the boy he said, "You must be crazy! There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish. You can't possibly make a difference." The boy looked at the man. He then bent down and picked up one more starfish, and threw it back into the sea. He turned back to the man and said, "But it made a difference to that one." unknown author |
