Author has written 3 stories for Twilight, and Supernatural.
One Love refers to the universal love and respect expressed by all people for all people, regardless of race, creed, or color.
Single mom, nurse, dreadlocks, music, friends and ex twilight addict. Supernatural captured my attention in 2005 and has had me enthralled ever since. In between seasons (and usually during) I start on the pilot and will watch all the way through to the current episode and then start all over again. I have done this more times than I can count. So many times that I can now recognize repeat extra's in the background.
Fun facts about me:
Converse- I'm obsessed with them and have several pairs in multiple colors. I have even designed my own on their website.I wact
I am a single mom of three kids 14 and under, have been a Nurse for over 12 years and was a medic before that. I love reading and can remember as a child hiding under my covers late at night with a book & a flashlight.
I have long dreadlocks which I adore having and love to educate people about them. (Yes I wash my hair, Yes they are clean ect...) UPDATE: 2014 Dreads now gone sadly but I'm working on getting a new set done.
I love music. All music. Live bands especially. Dancing too. There is something amazing about dancing at 3am in a crowded warehouse while a DJ spins some awesome house. I used to throw punk rock shows and raves from the ages of 17-22. Helped put me through school and had a blast doing it.
Friends- I would be nowhere with out them. You know who you are and you are everything!!
Supernatural: My first obsession. Have been watching since the pilot episode and have remained faithful to the fandom ever since. While I understand everyone had their own secret desires, I do not write/read slash or wincest. I know from interviews J & J really don't like their characters to be distorted from what they have worked over a decade to perfect. They are extremely protective of their characters and in turn so am I.
Twilight- How can I explain it? I moved from So Cal to the Pacific Northwest and went from a lifetime of friends and sunshine to rain and loneliness. (I love my kids, but after all they're kids not really adequate for companionship and adult conversation!) Then during one cold, wet winter I started reading Twilight. I can honestly saw that it saved my sanity. While drowning in rain and snow, I was able to identify with Bella's initial contempt for Washington's gloominess until discovering friendships that last an eternity. These few wonderful and loyal friends also ended up loving The Saga as much as I did which led to road trips, conventions in Canada, multiple screenings and Crazy midnight releases that have given me memories galore. Each time I found myself missing California I would read some FF or re-read the Saga. Twilight = my personal therapy. It may sound crazy but it's true for me :)
I have been reading FF for several of years now and finally decided to post a little something. As it is my first time writing, ever, If it sucks, I'm sorry, feel free to let me know. If you think I should keep trying, let me know. If you want me to continue LET ME KNOW!!!
Thanks in advance for your patience. Remember please: Words of criticism are wonderful & can be a useful part of the creative process. But words of hate hurt. And just plain suck.
My philosophies of life:
"There ain’t no rules around here. We’re trying to accomplish something."- Thomas Edison
"The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed."- Chinese Proverb
"No coward soul is mine" - Emily Brontë
“My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me” - Henry Ford
In spite of the six thousand manuals on child raising in the bookstores, child raising is still a dark continent and no one really knows anything. You just need a lot of love and luck - and, of course, courage.”- Bill Cosby
Once Bob Dylan was criticized in Australia by a guy who said, “Your new songs aren’t as relevant as your old songs.” And Dylan just replied, “Well, I’m out here writing songs – what are you doing?”
Sorry, now I have to post the given statement :

UPDATE: 2014 - I was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition at the end of 2009 and completely lost my muse.I am no longer working or doing much of anything except going from Dr to Dr, hospital to hospital. After getting a terribly low reviews for my story "First Look", I stopped writing. Figured that I was going to go anyways and didn't want to leave crappy writing behind. But it's now 5 years later, I have been on the ventilator 18x and still hanging on. No more road trips or music festivals but a whole lot of Supernatural and FanFiction reading. When real life becomes unbareable and the pain is at its worst Supernatural takes me far away from my illness and fear straight into a world of fierce loyalty, devotion, commitment, bravery, strength and heroism. I leave the pain behind and become immersed in a world unlike any other. After all, if Dean can suffer through Hell, wha'ts a intubation here and there? :) And I have successfully ended my Twilight infatuation. When you are staring Death in the face daily I really don't want to read about a 17yr old girl running towards death for some guy. I would much rather watch real (Amazing) Men fight tooth and nail for Life, saving each other and everyone else they meet.
