Sarge AKA Henry Burns was born 9/14/1953 in Brooklyn N.Y. The pen name was given to me by a co-worker several years back and it stuck. I am a systems analyst working for a software startup company. When not writing, I practice Tai Chi, play conga for a Brazilian band or just hang out with friends. I'm married (21 years) to a Jamaican girl I met at work 24 years ago.

05/15/2007 - A couple updates. First of all, and most obvious, I'm still writing. Second, I am on Myspace, http:///fanfictionwriter Third - I am working full time again. Doing QA for an Internet startup that specializes in music and music distribution. Heaven.

03/10/2017 - Hi everyone! First off, I'm alive. Apparently a few of you were questioning my still being among the living, so I am posting just to let you know I am alive and well. Couple things to announce:

1. While I appreciate that people are still reading CR, QR and In Dreams, I no longer will be responding to requests for the lemons. Sorry folks.

2. I am working on original works of fiction. Expect to see my first novel to hit the bookstores and outlets sometime this year. (2017). I am currently working with my publisher to clean up the manuscript and the cover illustrations. The book is tentatively titled Redemption Songs and I hope you guys get a chance to read (and buy) it.

3. Just a shout out to all those who read and supported me.
