Author has written 22 stories for Twilight.
I have always loved to write, but, time does have a way of catching up with you. I did eventually remarry after my children moved away and was happily married for over 20 years before I lost my husband to cancer. But, between us, we had a large family. He had 7 kids from a prior marriage; I had 3 from my prior marriage; and with all combined we had 10 kids, 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren before he passed away.
I discovered Twilight and it has really helped me thru the hard times after my husband's passing. And now I am starting to get back to my writing and doing a lot of reading.
6/16/12 With the group of individuals that believe they have the right to infringe on the rights of others to dictate what is readable and what isn't, especially since we do have laws against censorship, I will be posting all of my stories on both FanFiction and TWCS. I will be using the same pen name as here. So, if I do get hit for voicing my opinion you will be able to find my stories on another site.
I sincerely thank each and everyone of you who have read then reviewed my stories. Even the individuals that read and do an alert of some nature. And, the ones that read, but, do nothing except enjoy reading. Each and everyone of you are appreciated beyond measure as it gives a writer joy to be able to share their imagined ideas with others who will enjoy the concepts as well. So, to everyone that hit, alert, or review I thank you very much and sincerely.
6/24/12 I found this pledge on another writer's profile and she invited people to add it to their profile as well. I thought it was a worthwhile item so I am adding it here.
I promise to reivew every fanfic I read whether it be fantastic, useless or anywhere in between. I make this pledge because I know how frustrating it as an author to have hundreds (or thousands) of hits and only a handful of reviews. Copy and paste this onto your profile if you promise to do the same
7/11/12 I wanted to take this moment to let everyone know that I am running a little behind with doing my updates on all of the WIP due to the surgery done on my left eye on 7/9/12. It has slowed me down slightly, but, I must say that my vision is returning to a standard that I haven't experienced for the last several years and it is wonderful. Thank you for your patience and understand over the last several weeks while my eyes were being repaired. I very much appreciated.
9/11/12 I just received the notice that my WIP The Misfortunes of being a Woman has been nominated for the Emerging Swan Award for a drama. I thank you for the nomination and for all of you that vote for my story. Vote running 9/12/12 thru 9/21/12. Please go over and vote. The link is:
9/25/12 The winners of the Emerging Swan Awards will be announced on 10/1/12. I thank all of you who voted for my story. It is very much appreciated.
At this time I would like to announce that I have acquired an awesome beta who is viewing all of my work, both completed and WIP's, along with all of my new updates. Dowlingnana is doing a fantastic job and I am happy that she has agreed to take on the job of clearing up my mistakes.
11/11/12 I do realize that I have slowed down a bit on my updating schedule. So many factors have contributed to this. Of course, I had sugery on both of my eyes and had to have time to heal while still trying to update. In September, laser surgery was done on my right eye to help improve the vision since that was the one eye that I was totally blind in.
You can add that some friends needed some help with things going wrong in their lives and I felt like I needed to be there for them when it was necessary.
But, the final reason was that I realized that my stories were dictating to me and it was taking the creativity away as well as the pleasure I received from writing. With that being the case I needed to slow down a bit to be able to give forth material to be enjoyed from all sides. I know some of you might not be happy hearing this, but, the truth is what it is. Nothing more or less. Each and every one of my stories deserve to be finished because they are important enough to me to share and hopefully bring a bit of escape to you, the people that read them. I do believe that if something is worth starting then it is worth finishing, but, I can definitely promise that it will not be months in between updates. More like two weeks if not sooner. At least, that is my goal.
Thanks to each and everyone of you who read, alert, favor and review. It means a lot to me always.
7/6/13 It has been awhile since I have updated my profile with any information. I know that I had mentioned last year that I would be posting my stories on TWCS and I have tried several times to do so, but, unfortunately, I don't seem to have the right format as yet to be able to get them on there. However, I haven't completely given up.
Also, you may have noticed that I am slowly completing some of my stories. This is a good thing as it will help me to be able to start updating again more often then about once a month on each of them. I need to finish up at least two more stories and then I should be able to maintain a more steady schedule. I'm not going to start anything new until I get down to only two stories left to complete then I'll start a couple more.
I do want to thank all of you for your patience in this time and all of you have been really great. Of course, like any other writer I do get the odd grumble PM or the one that is so off putting that you want to yell, but, I look at the situation and read all of the great reviews from the rest of you and chart their problem up to jealousy, or, a lack of having a pleasant life.
To each of you that do review, favor and alert I send a great big THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. And hope that you continue to enjoy my stories.
9/11/13 Time does have a way of moving faster than can be realized at times. As many of you may know a lot of my stories have been completed and only six are left as WIP's. I'm working to conclude just one or two more and then plan to start updating a lot more often on the other remaining stories. I do have another story or two running around in my head, but, don't want to introduce anything new until I have complete what is on my plate, as the saying goes, at the present moment.
Also, I want to give a big shout out for my beta who has made many of the banners that you now see attached to the stories. She has put in a lot of hard work and time to find and do just the right ones that would define the story and its contents. A beautiful job well done and most appreciated by me.
And as always I do want to thank all of you who read, alert, favor and review my stories. It is always a pleasure and much appreciated. THANK YOU.
9/24/13 Just a short note to let everyone know that if for any reason there is a problem with FanFiction that all of my stories are being backed up on Fiction Pad where I also have a profile established and will be keeping my stories updated there as well as here. I have no plans to pull my stories from this site, but, things of an unforeseen nature do happen from time to time and I thought it best to have an alternate area in case of the eventuality.
1/5/14 Seems funny that the year has flown by as swiftly as it has. I do hope everyone had a good Christmas with all wishes fulfilled. And, I do wish each of you a very Blessed and Prosperous New Year.
A few of my readers that have followed both Seeking My White Witch and then the sequel of Choices Made have asked for a third story with another adventure for Ria and Bella and the families, but, I don't think that will happen. Although, great interest is still strong in the first story it does wane for the sequel. It is best to leave them where they are at the end of the sequel. However, be assured that I'm happy that you care and have enjoyed the two stories enough to ask for more. It is appreciated.
I do appreciate all of my readers and followers regardless whether you review, alert, favorite, it is still a pleasure to know that you enjoy my stories. I thank you for giving me that blessing from my regulars and the newcomers.
6/11/14 Just a few quick words to alert all of you that my updating might be slowing down for the next month depending on the outcome of my upcoming surgery to remove a cancerous area. All of your prayers will be most welcomed and I would like to take this time to thank all of you again for the continued reviewing, alerting and favoring of my stories.
2/16/15 I haven't updated in a while, but, sincerely hope that everyone had a beautiful Valentine's Day and was able to spend it with their own personal Edward or Bella.
I will try to bring everyone up to date as to the outcome of my surgery back in July of last year as many of you have PM'ed and asked. It was most successful. The doctors found that the cancer had been discovered at the right time while it was still in the early stages and all was removed. Of course, I still have to continue going in for regular checkups to make sure there aren't any signs of it returning and I can honestly say that by the grace of God all has been well. It has indeed been a blessing.
Now, we're off into another new year and the blessing are still being appreciated. I do include each and everyone of you amongst those blessings that I'm able to share my stories with. Thank you.
2/23/15 I do apologize to everyone for the delays in regards to updating my stories this month, but, due to illnesses and important family issues that required my attention it has caused me to get terribly behind. In March I will be back to updating on a regular basis once more. My appreciation goes to all of you for your patience during this time.
11/01/15 I wanted to take this occasion to wish everyone the best of the upcoming holidays, even the individuals that like to try to spread their own misery to others with the cruel criticism they like to spew in what they call reviews of stories they've read. Why must they show their jealousy of others and create hurt just because they can't put two words together to try to bring some kind of relief and entertainment to others; giving others a form of escapism for just a little while and sharing ideas.
To those individuals that try that sort of stuff with me I would like to tell you that I honor your right to believe as you do and to say what you wish because my family, including myself, served in the military even in wartime for you to have that right. And, if you believe that your hurtful words are going to hurt me, or, stop me from expressing myself then you are sadly mistaken. I write and express myself because I find enjoyment in it. If you don't then don't read what I write.
There is a saying that says, 'You can't please all of the people all of the time and only some of the people some of the time,' so, I don't try to please anyone with my writings, but, myself, and then hope that others find enjoyment in them as well.
I do hope that during the holidays God will bless you with some joy that will give change and meaning to your miserable life.
Joy to all and may all of you have Happy, Blessed Holidays and peace of mind both those that give hope and encouragement and those that hate themselves because they are missing out on life.
05/23/17 I am writing to the cowards that can't take the time to sign their destructive and, I guess, their intentionally hurtful reviews. If you truly believe that your comments are going to stop me or others from doing what we enjoy doing for ourselves than you're sadly mistaken. Find the courage to sign what you say or don't waste our time saying meaningless nonsense and sending it to us. Because honestly the only reaction you get from me is a shake of my head at your cowardliness and a sense of pity for you because of your low self-esteem. Grow up and learn to embrace life and find peace in your soul as the rest of us doing. What we believe in we aren't afraid to own it. For if you can't own what you preacher then keep your damn mouth shut and take your misery to someone that gives a damn and is wanting to be as miserable as yourself.
