Author has written 10 stories for Twilight, Vampire Academy, and Hunger Games. I have renovated my profile. Hey! I use fanfiction to practice my writing skills and hopefully to reach some other readers out there. I've been on here for a while now, not as long as some but I'm definetely not new to it anymore. So, I understand where people who are starting out are coming from being worried: It's confusing, you don't always get reviews and you don't know how everything works (what is OOC?!). After a while it makes sense, with the help of a few kind reviews, harsh flames, and supportive betas. Some tips if you are new to fanfiction: All you need to know about me: I have a strange sense of humor and rely on it in my stories frequently. It also makes me review people's stories at 3 A.M. in a very hyper-active way. At 3 A.M. I do find everything hilarious. Then tell myself to 'stop laughing, it sounds crazy' out loud. I'm not joking. It makes me laugh even more. Sometimes (always) I'm slow at doing things like updating, posting on my blog, reading people's stories when they ask, getting to the hairdresser etc. Basically, I'm always running late. I will apologise for this a lot. I'm sorry for always being late and then apologising for it. I have a blog which discusses fanfiction, writing, books etc. It has a lot of book reviews, so please check it out! http:/// It's a lot more interesting than that. You will learn about the struggles of not having Kartik (Gemma Doyle Trilogy) around enough, along with angst over the choice between Adrian and Dimitri (Vampire Academy Series). Then I'll tell you secrets about my fanfics. Maybe add in some writing discussions too - like how authors need cool pens, that's a personal favourite. I am a beta reader, just email me if you are interested! My aim in beta-ing is to efficiently proof read your work and also care enough to give you advice. If you don't need a beta, I will tell you that and let you choose whether or not to still get me to proof it - I say this because I had someone who only needed a few commas added and wanted me to beta it anyway. Beta-ing isn't instant for anyone, which is why so many stories seem to end up without any revising. Sacrifice the time or your story. People don't mind an extra day if you post quality work. May I mention here: time differences suck. Stories/Series that I've read: How I live now Lock and Key Eternal Hush, Hush Gallagher Girls Mortal Instruments Hunger Games Twilight Saga Shiver (Wolves of Mystic Falls) Evernight Fallen Vampire Academy House of Night The Gemma Doyle Trilogy The eternal ones Meridian Evermore Gossip Girl Vladimir Todd My Love Lies Bleeding... The Replacement I've read more but that is basically all the series's, I just looked at my bookshelf, there not in order. I will read any fanfic even the ones I have no idea what their about... Twi-hards (I hate that term xD) copy and paste this (I did): I promise to remember Bella Each time I carelessly fall down And I promise to remember Edward Whenever I'm out of town I promise to obey traffic laws For Charlies sake of course And I promise to remember Jacob When my heart fills with remorse I promise to remember Carlisle Whenever I am in the emergency room And I promise to remember Emmett Everytime there's a huge boom I promise to to remember Rose Whenever I see something that holds pure beauty And I promise to remember Alice When I'm at a mall and a cute outfit spots me I promise to remember Nessie When I see that beautiful bronze hair And I promise to remember Esme When someone tells me they care I promise to remember Jasper Whenever my stomach isn't curled And I promise to remember the Volturi When someone speaks of dominating the world Yes, I promise to love Twilight Wherever I may go So that all may see my obsession Because I know what the Twilighters know |
