I don't know why I started reading fan fiction, well actually I do, I was forced to sit and listen while my girlfriend told me how it was the 'Best Thing Ever'. I've always enjoyed reading, mostly fantasy adventure types like; LOTR, Harry Potter, Inheritance Cycle and the type.

When Twilight came out in 2008 I didn't know what the fuss was about, It didn't appeal to me and I can remember making fun of my uni mates for watching it. That was before my girlfriend once again intervened and not only took me to watch Twilight but they gave me the books to read. The first book didn't do much for me seeing as I'm not a girl.

However as the Pack emerged I was pulled in, I've never been fan of vampire films or books but SM's version are worse. But the pack I loved, their history and how they came to be is believable. I've since spent much time reading twilight fics because the books just don't do it for me. I'm not Edward or team Jacob. But of the two I prefer Jacobs character to Edwards. I also think that SM got Jacob all wrong in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, he becomes kinda dark, twisted and manipulative and I don't think that's how he would really be.

I have to be secretive about this because my friends and family still don't know I read fan fiction or that secretly go and watch the Twilight films on my own. If they ever found out I would never hear the end of it. I mean I'm 24 years old, I'm 6ft2, a Finance graduate who spends most his free time playing or watching football. I don't think I fit the profile of an average Twilight fan, anyway that's me.
