![]() Author has written 12 stories for Star Trek: 2009, and Misc. Tv Shows. I'm a fan, not the owner of Star Trek, damn it! Sunday, May 6 2012. Dear readers, I attempted to correct some errors in "No, I do not mean the punctuation mark!" because it is a gift. The story is unbeta'd, so I am sure it still has a FEW mistakes. I decided not to correct anything in "This is all your fault." It is the first story I ever wrote, and I will leave it to remind me from where I started. Some people asked me to write/update faster. Please do not forget what I repeat all the time: English is not my native language. Let me assure you, it is very difficult to write in a foreign language. The expressions, the grammar are so very different! Words or phrases you take for granted, to me they are completely unknown. A few examples: it took me ten minutes of search in a web dictionary I use, to discover the word "ambivalent" and another ten minutes for the word "fussy". It took me ten days to write "A helping hand" and another ten days to correct its errors, although I know it is far from perfect... Please note that I also try to keep my ideas and stories original. That is translated as: good ideas are so hard to find! People love catchy phrases, like the Victoria's secret phrase Sarek says in the "Helping hand". That phrase is original, it is mine and it was very difficult to think it. So, please be patient with me and I will do my best to make your reading my stories worth your time. I work for a living (I'm one of the lucky ones) and I write during my free time. One last thing: it is true that M-rated stories get the most hits and the fewer reviews! LOL Come on people, don't be shy! Let me know what you think, what you liked, where you laughed or what you disliked. There is no other way to improve my writing. Thank you for reading and double thanks to those who let me know. |
