Author has written 17 stories for Hannah Montana, iCarly, Wingin' It, Glee, and Victorious.
I've been sitting here for a few minutes now, trying to come up some some kind of clever opening line to use in this paragraph. Sadly, I'm drawing a real blank right now, so I might as well be a little old fashioned and just give a proper greeting; Hello! For whatever the reason, you stumbled into my neck of the woods over here in fiction land. So, welcome, and such.
I supposed an introduction of sorts is in order. My name is Amanda, and I'm seventeen years old. Writing is something I enjoy so much, and I like to think that I'm getting pretty good at it. Plot lines are constantly floating around my head, and I tend to scribble them down on spare pieces of paper whenever I stumble across one that is good enough. There are notebooks in my room made entirely of bits and pieces of little stories, and other drabbles that have come directly from my imagination. I feel like they are almost a window into the inner workings of my brain, or something. I try to stick to writing about things that are relevant with me and my life. I like to think that I can turn my worst day into someone's favourite story.
If you haven't already noticed, my writing style is a bit wordy. It often takes me a bit longer than it should to make a point, and I like to show off my vocabulary (which, probably isn't as big as I try to make it seem). I haven't decided whether or not this is a good thing, but either way it's what I'm best at. I never used to think I was that good of a writer, and only did it for the pleasure it brought to me, until my English teacher announced to my entire class that he thought I was very talented. This announcement came after I had handed in a short story called 'Annabelle'. Hearing him say that made me realize that maybe I had a way with words, and it inspired me to write more. So here I am.
I started fan fiction when I was thirteen, and anything I produced was pure trash. Believe you me that anything written in the time period has been promptly deleted, and should never grace the Earth again. But luckily I have found some talent and am now able to write stories that I find at least readable.
I'm not quite sure what direction I want to take this account. My ship interests have changed drastically since I started here, and now I'm not so sure who to throw into my plot lines anymore. The Sam/Freddie relationship no longer interests me, and after the stories involving them are brought to a proper ending, I don't think I will be writing for them anymore. With that being said, I have removed the main focus of my account, so what does that leave me with? A few random stories here and there, but nothing with structure. I promise that I will find it soon, however, and I will not be giving up writing here.
