Author has written 1 story for Maximum Ride, and Mortal Instruments.
This is DontMessWithNinja's profile. I'm new to FF, so please don't sue me if I do something wrong.
Short bio- I'm a girl with a lot of interests, one of which includes writing. I love fashion, Keira Knightely, Stride gum, and huge jewellry. I speak my mind, shop a lot, and I've been a vegetarian for as long as I can remember (much to the chagrin of my carnivorous family).
Preppies are the hottest thing on planet Earth.
I love PMing people, so if you have book suggestions or want to collaborate or just want to talk, I'm here and I don't bite very often.
I love discussing controversial topics with intelligent people who respect other viewpoints. It's incredibly frustrating to try to have an intellectual conversation with someone who believes blindly that they are the only right ones. My favorite topic is religion, and I can hold both Atheist/agnostic and Christian views.
I have some stories that I plan to post, but I'm not always in the mood for writing, so they're going pretty slowly.
I'm good at writing in descriptions and great at catching grammar, but I'm not very good at coming up with storylines or including more than one arc. So, if you have a great idea with no idea how to execute it, PM and I'd be happy to help.
I'd just like to say right now that I recently read the final Fablehaven book, and it blew my mind. That whole series is intriguing, magical, and incredibly deep- especially considering that it's written for the 'independent reader'. The first few books are a little childish, but the third and beyond were incredible. Really why I liked it was because the writing was great, it was intertwined with some pretty kick-ass storylines, it was long enough to keep me occupied, and it was easy enough that I would stay interested. Kudos to Brandon Mull!
I'd like to make a quick announcement- As of 12/05/10, I'm revising MaxIn. I was rereading through it and, truth be told, it's pretty bad. I'm rewriting the entire thing. This will take a while, but I'm trying to update as fast as I can.
Percy Jackson- Rick Riordan
Percy Jackson, an ADHD New York teen discovers that the ancient Greek myths- the Olympians, Hercules, and the monsters- may not be so mythical after all. He's a demigod- a half-human, half-god extrememly powerful hybrid. But when an ancient evil is awakened and friends turn into enemies, can the newfound halfblood save humanity?
Mortal Instruments- Cassandra Clare
Teenage artist Clary Fray's life is turned upside down when she sees a strange sight- three tattoo-covered teens murdering another boy. This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters- human-angel hybrids dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. As Clary befriends Shadowhunters Alec and Isabelle, she creates a strong rapport with gorgeous, cocky Jace. But when a powerful artifact is stolen and her mother goes missing, Clary must delve deeper into her past as it intertwines with the Shadowhunters'.
Maximum Ride- James Patterson
Max and her family are experiments- genetically engineered human-avian hybrids with wings. They're on the run from the scientists that made them, an evil organization called Itex, and human-wolf hybrids with a thirst for their blood. Told through the eyes of valiant leader Max, readers will be enthralled by the action-movie pace and hilarous dialogue.
Harry Potter- JK Rowling
Do I really need to write something for this one?
Gallagher Girls- Ally Carter
Cammie Morgan goes to a school for the East coast's most elite. At least, that's what everyone else thinks. In reality, Gallagher Academy is a school for spies. Cammie and her friends are fluent in fourteen different languages, know how to kill a man with only a shoe and some lipstick, and can make a false life story at the drop of a hat that can fool even the most sensitive lie detectors. However, there's one thing her school hasn't taught her to deal with- guys. When cute, funny, and totally oblivious Josh steals Cammie's heart, she and her friends do some crazy things in the name of love.
I wrote all of these summaries myself. I apologize if I inadvertently copied someone's prexisting summary! I didn't mean to!
I absolutley LOVE Lily/James from Harry Potter. I've always thought that Hermione/Draco pairings are just slightly creepy, and I love Hermione/Viktor. I don't care for Hermione/Ron. I've read a few Ginny/Draco fics and they turned out pretty good.
Elizabeth/Teddy from The Luxe
Quigley/Violet from A Series of Unfortunate Events
Bex/Grant from Gallagher girls
Simon/Maia from Mortal Instruments
Bracken/Kendra from Fablehaven
Least favorite books
Lord Of the Rings
Eragon trilogy- I think that Christopher Paoloni is a fantastic author for his age, but I'm not really into that stuff
Betwixt by Tara Bray smith- A great idea, but I got a little lost...
Twilight- Stephenie Meyer is an awesome writer, but all her characters are way too perfect. It would be nice if they had a few real flaws.
James Patterson- He's a STORYTELLER, not a WRITER. He's good at the prior and terrible at the latter. I don't quite get why I love his MR books so much.
The Breakfast Club
