June 6: I am intrigued with this image manager feature thingy, but displeased that it seems to be using my profile pic as the image for my stories. Therefore, I am requesting fanart to be used as a representation image for both 'The Definition of Weakness' and 'The Melody of Ambition'. I feel like it's a really big no-no to actually request fanart, but I really don't want to use my profile picture. Alternatively, if you already have a picture that suits either one of those stories and feel okay with giving me permission to use it, I shall...be extremely pleased. Best part about this request? I will reward the artist's generosity with a one-shot of their request and a shout-out and a link to their account (either on deviantart or here) in my story as advertisement. So please! Help an author out here!
I've been reading over my previous work, and I've put the following stories on my blacklist.
'Appreciation' -- Could be good, but it needs a lot of work.
'The New Girl'
'The Paperweight of Wisdom'
'I Don't Think That Made Sense'
'Not Good Enough'
The first four chapters of 'The Melody of Ambition' -- these will be cut up and have the shit edited out of them
Most of 'The Definition of Weakness' -- The beginning's all over the place, and seems to be going nowhere.
I won't tear those stories down, but they do need a serious edit. Read at your own risk. My priorities are to update either Melody or Weakness (possibly both) take a break from writing, and then crack down on the start of the two of them. The others will be revamped whenever I get around to it. When the story disappears from the blacklist, I've fixed it as well as I can by myself.

HOLA! Well, I love to write (obviously) and I love to read other people's stories. Also, I do quite enjoy reviewing; although I get the feeling some people get offended from my reviews, so I'd like to clear something up. When I review, I won't just say 'I like this' or 'I don't like this!' I'll actually give you feedback (meaning, this is what you did well, this is what you could do better). If I review your story, it means I LIKE it and I see talent in you as a writer. I won't review if I think the author is hopeless.
I don't like Yaoi much. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against LGBTQ people (I'm a member of the gay-straight alliance at my school). I just...don't generally see it in the anime. Yup.
COMING SOON TO A COMPUTER NEAR YOU!
The Definition of Weakness, Chapter 23 or something. I don't keep track(60% done): Silver always says how he hates weakness, but what IS weakness? Where does it become strength? My team may not be the best, but I never would call them weak. They just need some training. Silver calls me weak, Silver calls me stupid, Silver calls me crazy. Yeah, well, Silver...so are you. SilverxOC
Looking Sharp (70% done) : Well, I'm a country girl, and recently my first and favourite horse died. His name was Digby, and he was a thouroughbred that we got off the track (which means he used to be a race horse, for the citiots that are reading this) and they treat track horses really badly. Long story short, apparently for the four years that we had him he had really bad hips and was in a lot of pain for most of his life, but he never showed it. He never snapped, he wasn't bad tempered (thought I wouldn't describe him as sweet) and he was just a really great horse. But eventually it got too much, he stopped eating (we assumed collic) and when the vet came he told us about this, we didn't know since he never made any sign he was in pain. We had to put him down, and I've decided I'm going to write a one-shot in his honour. For those who have played the Ranger games, specifically Shadows of Almia, have you noticed that one ranger who just stands in front of the Union and never actually does anything? Well, she used to do a lot. She used to have a partner pokemon-a ponyta, as I'm sure you can guess by now. And if you see above story, that's the plot.
The Melody of Ambition Chapter 11 (0% done): We all know Solana’s and Lunick’s story; the seven letters your MC sent to Spenser with the single minded hope of becoming a pokemon ranger. But what about the other side? Billy has gone through life with a single ambition; to prove that he can lead the most influential rock band since the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Led Zeppelin. His ambitions burn with more passion than any ranger’s, which is why he’ll do anything to make them come to fruition. Just watch him.
In the Shadow of the Castle Chapter 1 (45% done): A what-if-team-plasma-won story. Not very original, I know. But told from the perspective of the Elite Four. Very angsty, or at least that is what I am going for.
ALSO...I've decided I'm not gonna post all the derpy one shots that may or may not get posted here. It will be a surprise to all (me included) if they make it here.
Boy: It's you & me..
"I was enchanted by the world of rock music- the way the singers could scream of good and evil, proclaim themselves angels or devils, and mortals would stand up and cheer. Sometimes they seemed the pure embodiment of madness. And yet it was technologically dazzling, the intricity of their performance. It was barbaric and cerebral in a way I don't think the world of ages past had ever seen." -- Anne Rice, The Vampire Lestat.
"And the women- ah, the women were glorious!, naked in the spring warmth as they'd been under the Egyptian pharaohs, in skimpy short skirts or tunic like dresses, or wearing men's pants and shirts skintight over their curvaceous if they pleased. They even painted, and decked themselves out in gold an silver, even to walk to the grocery store. Or they went fresh scrubbed and without ornament- it didn't matter. They curled their hair like Marie Antoinette, or cut it off and let it blow free. For the first time in history, perhaps, they were as strong and as interesting as men." --Anne Rice, The Vampire Lestat.
"Still, you can't make an omlette without killing a few people." -- Mr. Croupe, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
