Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.
No one ever reads these things, but here goes nothing: I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. I also have a degree in teaching ESL, as well as a minor each in English Literature and Psychology. I live Nearish-to-Toronto, Ontario. Most of my free time is spent homeschooling my girls, taxiing the girls to their various and sundry activities, reading, writing, crocheting and general 'mom' stuff. I have been known to beta, if the mood strikes me, and if I'm asked nicely enough. I love well written fiction, and some of my favourite authors are: Tolkien, Gabaldon, Card, Milton, Shakespeare, Dumas, Donne and Chaucer. All my MSTs and fics can be found on the homepage.
I have to admit, I haven't spent a great deal of time working with fanfiction lately (read, 'none at all') - all my creative time has been pressed into an original work of epic proportions. If it ever gets close to being published, I'll certainly let you know.
On Hiatus, until further notice:
- Fellowship of the Urn, chapter 5 (co-written with Al's Waiter - http://www.fanfiction.net/-alswaiter) ..(Except ff.net keeps taking out the squiggly line from in front of Al's name. You may need to put it in for yourself.) AW has put a great deal of effort into this story, thanks to NaNoWriMo, and it will probably be going up, one chapter at a time.
- Of Meanderings and Messages, chapter 6 (Another computer crash, another chunk lost. For the love of all you hold dear, back everything up in the cloud!) This fic, while complete and whole in my head, may be doomed to stay there, or be written out, in pieces, in other works of fiction.
-Present Tense, Past Imperfect, still has one and a half chapters finished... IF I can find it in the old system's back-up. This is another one that may never see the light of day.
