Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.
No one ever reads these things, but here goes nothing: I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. I also have a degree in teaching ESL, as well as a minor each in English Literature and Psychology. I live in the Middle of Nowhere, Ontario. Most of my free time is spent entertaining my little girls, reading, writing, and doing various household chores. And, I have been known to beta, if the mood strikes me, and if I'm asked nicely enough. I love well written fiction, and some of my favourite authors are: J.R.R. Tolkien, Diana Gabaldon, Orsen Scott Card, John Milton, William Shakespeare, John Donne and Geoffrey Chaucer. All my MSTs and fics can be found on the homepage.
In the works:
- Fellowship of the Urn, chapter 5 (co-written with Al's Waiter - http://www.fanfiction.net/-alswaiter) ..(Except ff.net keeps taking out the squiggly line from in front of Al's name. You may need to put it in for yourself.)
- Of Meanderings and Messages, chapter 6 (I promise, I am working on it!)
- I am also toying with a blatant self-insert. I had some of it written and it got lost. It promises to be interesting, and I am making progress in it. I'll keep you posted.
Update: No, I haven't abandoned my stories, but I am reworking them, and trying to fit them in to life. Two girls, two home-based businesses, and a husband on a 12-hour quick rotation shift really takes time away from writing. Don't give up on me, there is still hope for these stories!
Story Status: OMAM has been reworked, and will be reposted shortly, Urn is Updated!, and my new story, Present Tense, Past Imperfect, has one and a half chapters finished. I am getting back to writing after a very long break. The muses have returned from the Caribbean and seem to be ready to get down to work again. Wish me luck!
