Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, and Mortal Instruments.
7/9/2011: I'm back! Profile is currently under reconstruction, since I've been gone a while. But don't worry, it'll all look nice soon...In the meantime, check out my new story!
3/3/2015: Yeesh, this thing was a mess. Only now getting around to writing fanfic again, so I forgot the horror of this profile, and frankly, of my previous stories. Hopefully I will have improved over the last four years.
I guess this profile is pretty empty now, so I'll give you some basics: Heather, freshman English major who is going to attempt to maintain writing a hellishly long "project" while doing actual schoolwork. Most of my stories will probably be about Harry Potter (especially Snape, hence the username), but I might eventually dabble in such worlds as A Song of Ice and Fire, The Mortal Instruments (Malec, if anything), and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.
But for now, there is one main, extremely long fanfic, of which I hope to have the first chapter up relatively soon, that I'm focused on, to be entitled "The Price of Love". All I'm going to say about it here is that it's a Snape-daughter story, though it is not entirely all about that relationship and I certainly hope that I manage to avoid the pitfalls and cliches associated with the trope. It has been my guilty pleasure sub-genre of HP fanfic for a while now, ever since I read an incredibly well done fanfic series that unfortunately has been on permanent hiatus for years, which led me to attempt to pick up the torch with "Once in a Millennium". Unfortunately, looking back on it, I find it a rather clumsy and ridiculous premise that I can't see myself working around now, not to mention regaled with all the finesse and style of writing with which a 13 year old is usually bestowed. My nearly-19 year old self has found herself willing to pick up the pen again, somehow, and hopefully the passage of high school, a million books, and some writing classes has managed to make a mark in my writing.
