Author has written 3 stories for Dragon Age.

I love me some Bioware games. Carth, Kaidan, Alistair, and now Fenris? It's almost too much for a girl to bear!

Why are you doing this, woman?: Don't get me wrong, I love the Dragon Age universe to bits, but with Dragon Age 2, I just felt like there was a lot... missing. I never really felt the need to write fanfiction for any of the other Bioware games because they were very much fleshed out (even if the devs seem curiously intent on busting up our dishy romances...)

DA2 has a lot going for it, but it left me with enough questions that eventually my mind started filling in the gaps. And here we are. Some 400k+ words later, and still ending Act I. _ Yes, you can see that I had a lot of questions. And I have oodles more. (It does not hurt that I think Fenris is one of the most underrated characters in the history of underrated characters. And yes, I fully realized the irony of calling my fic The Journal of Marian Hawke, then spending 80% of my time on Fenris.) ;)

Now that things are going smoothly with my writing, I'm really hoping to make a solid go at more original stuff. I really appreciate each and every review I get, and I am always looking for constructive criticism, especially on my grammar, writing style, or anything that pulls you, the reader, out of the flow of the story. The feedback I get really keeps the chapters coming, so thank you, and please continue to review as much as you can!

Age: 31

Occupation: Currently none (makes for a steady stream of chapter releases at least!) -- hire me, BioWare? I will write whatever you want. Dialogue, codex entries, instruction manuals... I will beg. I will relocate. I am not kidding.

Bio: Married for almost 8 years; no kids yet, just a corgi and an old, ornery cat.

Xbox Live ID: lotusflwr80

Some of my favorite authors: Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, Jacqueline Carey, Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin, David Gaider (obvs!), Drew Karpyshyn, J.K. Rowling, A.S. Byatt, Orson Scott Card, Jane Austen

Some of my favorite shows: Lie to Me, Merlin, lots of anime, The Tudors, Flight of the Conchords, Battlestar Galactica, Better Off Ted, anything British comedy, Scrubs, Family Guy, American Dad, Robot Chicken, Metalocalpyse, etc... I don't watch TV much lately, so right now it's mainly whatever good stuff's on Netflix for me!

Some of my favorite movies: Conan the Barbarian, Conan the Destroyer, Labyrinth, The Godfather 1 & 2, The Big Lebowski, Ladyhawke, Sense & Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice (A&E), Emma, The Sound of Music, Coming to America, American Beauty

Favorite color: Blue

Favorite food: Chocolate

Favorite flower: Lotus (duh!) :)

Favorite fanart: http:///favourites/

Inspirations: Things come to me all sorts of times, but most often when I'm sleeping (making it hard to stay asleep, sometimes!) I also listen to music, head out to Panera to at least be around other people & to write in open space (they probably think I am a vagrant, as I stay all day sometimes,) and I just look for intriguing situations/choices just in every day life. Also see my tumblr, where I often post interesting, inspiring schtuffs.

Favorite writing music: Dragon Age soundtracks, naturally. Also, The Strokes (for Fenris), Lady Gaga (for Hawke. Don't ask...), and The Lonely Island (for anything humorous.)

Be sure to follow me on Twitter @lotusflwrfanfic for the latest updates on how the fic is coming! Also follow @thevoiceofgid and @A_HOWDZ, who voice Fenris and Anders, respectively. Smashing blokes, and both of them are too good to their fans! Their tweets help me keep their voices in my head, making it easier to write what I hope is canon-y dialogue.

I seriously think Mass Effect 2's infamous Horizons moment was ALL A PLOT! To keep it canon, this is my take on Cerberus' shenanigans. Follows ME2 storyline with flashbacks to earlier times. Bioware owns all. This is part 3 of 'Valkyrie' Shepard's tale.

A vignette in which Hawke finds herself wondering what freckles have to do with the danger of mages, cooking, and Fenris' fashion sense. Also, a brief look into how Fenris might justify following and possibly feeling attraction for a mage.

The Journal of Marian Hawke reviews
Varric persuaded Hawke to keep a journal, not suspecting how pivotal it, or she, would become. Her writings tell part of the tale, but what happened in between? And between her and Fenris? Get the full tale and fill in every funny, dramatic, romantic gap.

For someone who tried to remain inconspicuous, Fenris received a curious amount of mail. Even one missive was more than he cared to receive — at first. Who keeps sending these, why, and what good will they do anyway? May as well add them to the clutter...
