Current Story Details:
25/12/2016: I want to dedicate more time to writing, so I'm going to do just that. I will be focusing on original fiction more than fanfics, but also aim to update more often as a result.
14/04/2017: Also, don't hate me too much regarding 'deadlines'. I just moved 3 months ago. My new house is infested and the real estate is trying to blame me instead of fixing the issue. I'm going insane here. It's been 3 months of horror, pretty much.
"I'm learning more with every day. To be who I am, and to be who I want to be. If I keep on giving, keep on hoping, keep on trying...it just might be possible."
Stories with Multiple Chapters:
There will be a new multi-chapter story up soon. It's been in my head for too long. It must come out.
On Hogwarts and the Deathly Ones:
Also focusing on Lily Luna. I think she's my new favourite character. All the drama.
On Different Planes: Akashic Connection:
(Hiatus until H:AM is out of the slump it's been in for far too long) A story focusing on the odd life of Lily Luna Potter after she is struck down by the Hogwarts Express at age 10. Pet project (I love me some time/dimension travel). And, no. 'Akashic' is not some weird word I made up to sound vaguely Japanese. It is a concept. *artsy glare of indifference*
On possible future projects:
Currently flipping between Inuyasha, Star Trek: Next Gen, and Fushigi Yuugi fics. Who likes Sesshoumaru? *hint hint*
On Not Just Another Stupid Love Spell:
Up to Chapter 2! That is all. >:D
On My Immortal: Immortality Lost:
Lyndzey is currently experiencing a condition called 'child-rearing'. She will no longer be participating in the fun and games of misspelt wurdz and other shenanigans, however, the show MUST go on!
On Hogwarts: A Mystery:
21/05/14 - This story really is taking longer to write than I thought (mostly because I've been focused elsewhere). I'm on it, though. Don't worry.
9/11/2013 - These updates are never good for you, are they? I'd like to inform you all that I MAY be up and writing again within a few weeks. I am currently moving house, and am sick, and am finding it hard to concentrate. Also, the edited version of H:AM may come at a later date, but for now, I'm just going to let the words fly...everywhere...
19/06/2013 - H:AM is going through some serious editing (meaning I am printing it off this week, and scanning for errors; never really got the hang of editing on the PC. I get distracted easily...). Expect (hope) updates to come more frequently within the next 1-2 months again! Yay!
1/10/12 - Started H:AM as writing challenge; now my pet project. Also note; I kept slipping out of the correct tense until around chapter 8. Why? My brain was melting from tiredness.
I'm working on updating all my old covers. Depending on the demand (or how much I feel like it), I may upload high res versions of the new cover art elsewhere (I will provide a link if this happens). Several stories have the same artwork, which annoys me a tad.
"I never claim to be a good writer, but I imagine that 'boring' would be involved somewhere in that job description, anyway."
General Profile & FAQ:
Anything You'd Like to Admit? My name isn't really Lucy, but it's kind of a partial anagram of the most ridiculously conspicuous name in existence. I'm a giant kid, I rarely take offense to anything, and chances are that if you're reading my stories, you're reading something I wrote a 6 in the morning after a terrible bout of insomnia. I love to write more than almost anything else, and I find fanfics are a good way of getting feedback on the dreaded "Shitty First Draft" (I do, of course, edit my longer stories once I'm finished with them - beware fics with more chapters! Mwahahaha! Although, most of my shorter stories are quickly done over before I post them). I'm also trying to review everything I read now. I have realised that feedback is crucial, not just for me, but other writers as well (you don't say!).
Why Are You ALWAYS On Hiatus?I have a disorder called fibromyalgia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which sometimes limits my ability to do things. I'm also a certified insomniac, so sometimes life is kinda hard. Thinking is hard. SLEEPING is hard. Running out of pills is hard. I won't spill my whole sob story on you, but I get a lot of flak because I look 'normal'.
What Do You Write When You're Not Being A Snotty Badger?I generally tend to lean towards stories focusing on time travel, romance, mystery, and adventure. I love mythology, so there's probably a lot of symbolism that's being shoved in your face when you read the work I post here (especially in H:AM, and I suspect DP:AC). Sci-Fi/Fantasy is my preferred 'overall' genre. I love to see relationships other than romantic ones being explored, slow blooming romances, technology, mythology, spiritualism, astronomy, and the occasional sexy werewolf professor.
