Hello all, I'm Ichthyophobia. You probably found me because I reviewed something rather than wrote it, or possibly because I was replaced by a version of myself from an alternate dimension that actually finishes half the stuff she starts and remembered to get around to posting it. As it is, though, I'm a person with a rather disorganized brain, which leads me to starting approximately seven million ideas at once and finishing maybe one. Maybe. In a year. As a long time lurker, though, I've noticed just how painfully ridiculously annoying it is to try to follow a story that only updates roughly every three months at best, and so I've decided not to post except in the off chance I actually finish something.

That said, I spend most of my time writing, if not fanfiction than my original stories. I also draw, and you can find some of my work at my dA account at http:/// where you will notice that I almost never draw fanart, so don't go expecting. I'm a biochemistry/chemistry grad student with hopes of figuring out what to tell people when they ask "what are you going to do with that," sometime in the near future.

My favorite things to read? Ridiculously long one shots, well done character interaction outside of romance, a well managed conflict scene, description that's not of the "omg most prettiest dress ever", and of course, the occasional romance. Least favorite things? Stories with more author commentary than story, romances that if you blink you miss everything that comes before "I love you forever, let us make out," stories with no timing, and plot elements/slang that is so massively out of the appropriate time period it's not even funny. Also, High school AUs (find me a good one, I dare you.) I'll try most anything, though, with the exception of pairings that make me go "...What?"
