20/4/15: For the time being, this account is going inactive. All the fics I have here, oneshots and multi-chapter works, are in the process of being heavily edited and/or rewritten, and uploaded on Archive Of Our Own under the same username as this account. I will make more of an effort to have more regular chapter updates, but these updates will only be on AO3, so if you want to see how any of the multi-chapter fics are doing, that's where you'll find them.
So I'm Emeline, also going by the name Edan, and I'm an aspiring novelist who also enjoys writing quite a bit of fanfiction on the side. My fics and original work can be found on AO3 as well as here and fictionpress. Mostly I write fics for the same reasons as everyone else, although I do also want to increase diversity in fiction, so- lots of gay/bi/pan/ace characters and loads of non-binary ones, too. I'm bisexual and genderqueer myself, so you can probably understand my reasons.
I'm an atheist, to a point. I don't believe in gods, 'supreme' beings, Jesus, Heaven or Hell, etc. But I do think that ghosts exist, and I'm open to the idea of some kind of afterlife.
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10.">> > Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
