Hi! My name is Hélène and I am French-Canadian. I live in the North of the Province of Québec.

If you want me to, I’ll tell you my Twilight beginning. The story began in the summer of 2009.

My 11-year-old God daughter was spending a week with me like she does every year. She was really down due to her parents' separation. She refused to speak to me. She was reading, eating and sleeping.

I asked her to tell me about the book she was reading. She told me it was a series but her parents wouldn’t buy her the second volume so she was rereading the first one over and over.

So Fairy God Mother had a great idea and we went shopping at a bookstore. She was really happy but still continued to read, eat and sleep.

I then got another great idea as to read the first book to have something to speak to her about. The fact that I wanted to share this with her made her open up to me and she told me that I would need to see the movie trailer first to picture the right actors as I read the book.

I had never gone on YouTube. I would use the computer for job related things and go on the Internet just to read the news and get sport results.

I’m an avid reader so I was not really impressed by Twilight but it was fun to discuss Edward with my niece and bring up Jacob to make her react. Two days later, we rented the movie since I had finished the first book.

The magic operated when I saw Rob as Edward enter the cafeteria, I said out loud “Oh my God who is that actor.” We watched the movie 3 times. We went back to the book store and I bought the rest of the series for her and a new one for me.

When Marian went back to Québec City to her mother’s, she had shown me how to use MSN. I had one 11-year-old Internet friend and we only spoke about Twilight related things, it was so fun.

I then learned how to google and discovered who that beautiful actor was.

I am now a Robert Pattinson lover. A Robsten lover. An Edward and Bella lover. And a twilight fan fiction addict.
