"Please be considerate when asking me to update. I have a very, very busy real life that takes precedence over fanfic. This is a labor of love, which costs you nothing and costs me time, headaches, and tears. Writing is hard work, even fanfic. And when I get inundated with messages meant to guilt me into updating faster—as if I owe you this story—I begin to wonder if it’s worth it. I’m grateful that you enjoy the story enough to want to read more. But please don’t forget that I am a human being with responsibilities that you aren’t aware of. Be gracious."

Update 4/28/15: All my stories are on hiatus right now. As you all must understand, real life takes precedence over writing, no matter how much we all hate it. And the coursework for Elementary Education is particularly difficult and tedious. In my little free-time, I have been putting in as much time into Saltwater Sting as I can. I'm not sure when I will end the hiatus. I will be done for this semester in about two weeks, and I will make use of my time between classes as much as possible. I hope to get ahead enough in outlining/planning that I can begin to publish chapters again. I work on these stories very carefully, and I plan them just as cautiously.
