Here's something: I'm fascinated with quantum mechanics. According to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, an elementary particle doesn't take precise form as a particle or a wave until it's observed/measured(known as wave-particle duality): that is awesome and profound; when you measure it, the particle "collapses" into a singular quantum state: by looking at it, you change it! It says something about the fundamental meaning of our existence/the universe, I think... I just haven't figured out what that is, yet. I'll let you know.

My telecaster is like a flaky lover; I'm into her for those sexy single-coils, but she wails occasionally and I put her up. Most of the time we make noise, but every once in a while... we make music. I live for those moments of creation. The associated adrenaline rush is unlike anything else I know.

I will not pull a New Moon. Lying to the One-You-Love, no matter how self-sacrificing or noble your reasons, is monstrous. Canon Edward became the very thing he was trying to avoid by leaving Bella.

Jasper's history is precisely canon. I thought about altering it, but then... newborn vampire armies, territory wars, and villainous vixens like Maria make a pretty solid story.

The next chapter is coming, albeit slowly(chapter 26). I don't want to rush it because it's important I get it right. Be patient, and I promise we'll both be happier with the result. I expect it to be ready in another week, roughly.

In many ways, my story will mirror Twilight, in that the true tension takes place towards the end of the tale. Prepare yourselves, people.
