Author has written 3 stories for Twilight.
I'm a physical therapy student and I've been reading fanfiction on and off for around ten years, way back when I was an embarrassing tween. -shudder- Writing has been my own personal fun, but I've never had the courage or time to publish until recently. Obviously I've got some things in the works now! Not getting a lot of hits, but it's fun to see the reviews that come in now and again.
I'm a hardcore Harry Potter fan, and I'm a total nerd about it, and other such nerdy things, like Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Torchwood. Twilight is a guilty pleasure, but I'm one-hundred-and-five percent Team Jacob (and have been since reading Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse back to back a year or so before the release of Breaking Fail) and can't stand to read much fanfiction that isn't either, since it makes my heart hurt. ESPECIALLY when the tags are Jacob/Bella romance and then somebody brings Edward back into the picture and makes me die with Jake's heartbreak. I write Jacob/Bella mostly because Jacob is my favorite character, and I want him to get the happy ending he deserves. (I DO NOT CONSIDER HIM IMPRINTING ON VAMP SPAWN A HAPPY ENDING, SINCE IT HAPPENED BY SUPERNATURAL CASTRATION/LOBOTOMY. In Meyer's own words... everything that made him who he was was simply gone. HOW is that a happy ending, hm? How? --Mini-rant over.--) I'd have to say that I write Twilight most easily, however, because I have this compulsive need to -fix it-, which I don't find myself feeling with Star Trek or HP or any of the other fandoms that I read. Plus, the quality of writing in some of them, Star Trek, especially, is a bit intimidating.
(I'd like to say, however, that I have no hate for Harmione shippers, like some hardcore canon shippers do.)
Remus/Tonks (If only we'd gotten to SEE a bit more of that relationship...)
Lily/James (Why aren't there enough realistic, grammatically correct fics for this ship?)
NOTE: For HP fics, I love sugarquill.net... Anything on the Professors' Bookshelf is worth reading, and the pairs are pretty much strictly canon. No wading through Snape/Harry and Aberforth/goat fics there! Haha. It's not updated regularly anymore, and I think the webmasters have let it go, but it's got a LOT of great stuff, if you're willing to search through.
(Though I must confess I'm realllly growing to like Spock/Kirk and surprisingly LOVE Kirk/Uhura, but only in nu!verse)
Dax/Julian (Only in my imagination...)
Janeway/Chakotay (Okay, so it never happened, but seriously, when they were stranded on that planet and he gave her a massage?! Come on! I never really understood the chemistry with Chakotay and Seven of Nine.)
Human!Doctor/Rose (Come on, the girl's got to have SOME solace!)
Jack/Ianto (also, Jack/almostanyone, but ending up Jack/Ianto)
Edward/anonymous-happy-ending-vamp (I don't think he's a bad guy, I just think he is a despicable boyfriend. She's taught him something about love he didn't learn when he was human, and now he can find a VAMPIRE to be happy with for eternity, as it should be.)
Leah/Sam--CUT THE GIRL SOME SLACK! I love her character and think that the resolution she got in BD was absolute shit. If he still loves her even after an imprint, maybe they should be together!
(As an alternative, Leah/Paul--What's with the random ass imprint on Rachel? Oh yeah, baby-making genes. Paul and Leah would have been great. Lots and lots of angry sex. I think I'm sensing a fic in the making here... or Leah/Embry... Let SAM deal with all the mind-sharing for once!)
Quil/someone-his-own-age (I know he doesnt have feelings for Claire, but still. He should get to have love the normal way too.)
Are you getting the feeling that imprinting doesn't really sit well with me? It -really- irks me. I don't like it at all.
Charlie/Sue (This is totally cute.)
Renesmee/GOTCHA! NOBODY BECAUSE I HOPE SHE'LL NEVER EXIST!
If you've read any especially good stories that ship my way, I welcome PM's with recommendations, and always endeavor to send some back, and refer people to fics I love on other sites!
