What did Giles do with his summer between seasons 3 and 4? Why in the name of all things plastic did he hook up with Olivia? And what made him so rude to Buffy? This is just a theory on my part.

Through an act of neglect on Buffy’s part, Giles becomes very ill. When he ends up in the hospital, Buffy works through her guilt and faces her true feelings for him.

We all know that in season 4, Giles was feeling a bit left out. In his own words, he was just a “retired librarian with a tendency to get knocked on the head.” What if he though the gang felt the same way? Has a Happy ending.

4th of 4. This story is yet another sort of a sequel to How to Measure a Man. It comes right after Well, You Know. Willow and Xander tried to make Giles realize what he means to the gang. This story is what happens when Buffy finds out about it.

What if Buffy had told Giles about the whole Parker mess? What if she realized she should have been with Giles instead of Parker? Here’s my take on it.
