Author has written 1 story for Captain America. Allow Me to Introduce Myself… My name is Jasper Quentin Blood, though Jasper will suffice. I am twenty-eight years old (with both feet and an arm in the grave) and am a female of particularly petite stature. I have been a student of the Russian language, Political Science, History, and Foreign Policy in the past. I am currently a student occupied in the study of law. When not consumed by academia, I write fanfiction as both a creative outlet and an escape from the drudgery of adulthood. I tend to prefer fictional characters to human-beings and spend a lot of time in my own head, surrounded by my own musings and imaginings. I have always gravitated toward villains and/or darker, frequently amoral characters and so many, if not all, of the stories you see published below (which are not many at present – I started writing fanfiction when I was 12 and have had the good sense to realize that 1) boy, that writing did not age well and 2) I presently only update one, Athena, and so have been systematically whittling down the list of stories I keep posted over time, depending on how I feel about them and whether I hope to revive them in the future) will concern villains, typically as the main protagonists (or antagonists, depending on which side of the coin you choose to look at). Find me on AO3 under the pen name Jasper_Blood! A Wildly Varying List of Characters, People, and Things I Adore One HYDRA leader with a deformed red skull for a face by the name of Johann; the hilariously bloodthirsty Hans Landa; a certain cannibalistic Mads Mikkelsen by the name of Hannibal; a slightly off-kilter billionaire with a fetish for the color green by the name of Norman Osborn; a straight-razor wielding Barber hailing from Fleet Street; a sunglass-sporting, rapidly multiplying Agent Smith; a gas-mask-clad assassin whose name is Karl; a psychotic faerie by the name of Reth; a dead composer by the title of Gershwin; several Rhapsodies all colored in blue; an overture from Cuba; an American in Paris; a Devil by the name of Woland and his entourage; and perhaps a few poets, the list goes on and seems to vary wildly each year. Our enemies' weapons will be powerless against us. If they shoot down one plane, hundreds more shall rain fire upon them. Cut off one head, two more shall take its place... Madmen know nothing." - The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe "While the stars that oversprinkle, all the heavens seem to twinkle with a crystalline delight; keeping time, time, time in a sort of rhunic rhyme, to the tintinnabulation that so musically wells from the bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells..." - The Bells by Edgar Allan Poe "One kiss, my bony sweetheart, I'm after a prize tonight, and I shall be back with the yellow gold, before the morning's light." - The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes "It looks, after all, as if you will see Berlin before I do." - Kommandant Von Luger, portrayed by Hannes Messemer in the Great Escape, 1963 Bands and/or Composers that Inspire my Writing In Athena at least, I got into the habit of starting out each chapter with a snippet of a song that particularly inspired it, and I hope that perhaps some of you may give the songs a try!:) My tastes range from symphonic/power and progressive metal to classical music to classic and progressive rock.
