It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.
About me: I am a complete and total mystery, even to myself. I'm male, 17 years old, and I live in one of the most mind-numbingly dull towns in America and go to the self-proclaimed "greatest high school in the world," which is a total lie. I like video games, manga, anime, and sometimes even books with words, particularly those by Stephen King. And... that's about it.
I'm not going to post my height, weight, hair color, or eye color, because when people do that I just find it weird. I actually don't know what my eye color is, because I don't pay attention to things like that. Maybe I would if real-life eyes took up 60% or more of the face, but sadly... no.
Some things in fanfiction that I like: One thing off the bat would be proper grammar and spelling. At least as much as you can manage. It just shows you care. I also like to see characters acting in ways that you would actually expect them to act, thus proving they are in fact who they say they are and not just somebody with a strangely familiar name.
Some things in fanfiction that I don't like: Seeing as I'm a Lucky Star fan, it may surprise you that I'm not a yuri fan. And as for yaoi... Well, I'm a guy, so that should be obvious. Mostly I don't like slow or unoriginal plots, bad grammar, undeveloped Mary Sues and self inserts (although good original characters can be great), out-of-character actions among canon characters, and really, really weird sex scenes.
Guilty pleasures: Anything that fits the above paragraph so amazingly well that it becomes so bad it's good. Because, let's face it: If you're putting up fanfiction and you didn't put much thought into it, that gives us permission to laugh at you and feel better about ourselves.
