Origin of name: In TSUBASA: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, the ninth feather that Sakura gets back is the one she gets in Dark Tokyo/Acid Tokyo-- the one that contains her memories of being trained as a dream-seer, and that allows her to have her dream of the events in Infinity. It also contains some rather important knowledge about herself. (Trying not to spoil things…but this manga is kind of getting old-ish now)
I also have an account under the same name on, where I cross-post most of my newer fic, and where I plan to re-post some of my older stuff if I can find time to do it.
On that note, the older fic on this account is a crapshoot. Some of the stuff from before 2012 actually isn't that bad; others...not so much. I was learning the rules of fanfic and writing some pretty self-indulgent stuff along the way. Recurring Nightmare with Popcorn, bizarre though it may be, is still at least decent in the earlier chapters even though they date to 2010 or so; some of my Gundam fic from more than a year later is straight-out awful. Proceed with caution, everyone.
By the way, KuroNekoShoujo, who is also on this site, is my osananajimi (childhood friend in Japanese). She is stubborn, insane, reckless and the reason I will have a heart attack sometime tomorrow. She’s also the person I care about most outside of my immediate family. Go figure. Despite what she might say, she is never going skydiving or even touching a motorcycle. However, she really is a Yakuza hitman. But I have plausible deniability, so no worries.
My other friends who have accounts are miladyRanger, dovaly, thegreengleam and khoov19. They're all really good writers, , so I'd recommend you check them out if you're looking for a good fic, even though miladyRanger is the only one that writes in the same fandoms as I do. They're on my favorite author's list.

About My Fanficton
I write what pops into my head. It's about that simple. This means I sort of play hopscotch with fandoms. I try to be good about updating, but I have other responsibilities, so sometimes I won't update right away. I'm not gonna lie and say I'll always finish every story I start. What I can promise, though, is that I will try to finish every story I post, unless I have legitimate reasons for not doing so. And, at the very least, I can promise that what I do post will be reasonably well-written, which cannot be said of every finished fic on this site. Hopefully, that will be good enough for most of you.
My fics are usually pairing-free, but when there are prominently-featured pairings, they're most likely going to be canon, and they will be het. I tend to be more fascinated by character relationships other than romance, though, especially fictive kinship (i.e. characters who aren't actually legally or biologically family but act like they are), so you'll find a lot of that in my fics. I also like crossovers, especially between very dissimilar universes, because I like seeing the characters react to one another. Even if the universes I'm crossing over are different, though, I will try to find the connections between them, like similar characters or overarching themes. I'm not good at doing one genre at a time, so usually you'll find bits of humor mixed up in the angst, or friendship/bonding stuff in the action scenes...but that's sort of how real life is. I also like AU's because I like envisioning how my favorite series' plots would have changed if the setting of the series had been different.
So far, I haven't written anything that would deserve an "M" rating, and it will probably stay that way. Most of my stuff that is rated "T" is either for violence, some blood (it won't cross into gore unless I develop a stronger stomach) or for bleeped-out cursing. The cursing being bleeped out is because I don't curse in real life and I don't really want to write profanity, either, but I can't write certain characters without having them curse. (*cough* Edward Elric *cough*) There is a distinct lack of citrus on my fic list because I don't know how to write it and don't want to know how to write it, so the most you'll find on that front is kissing, hand-holding, and various other small, fluffy expressions of love.
A lot of people have said that I'm good at dialogue and characterization. A lot of people have also pointed out that I have trouble with pacing and that I tend to mix up details. I'm a graduate student in writing, and also I have this lovely program called spell-check, so the spelling mistakes should be limited to typos. So, now you know more-or-less what you're in for...
A Note About Reviews, Concrit, or Whatever They're Calling It Nowadays...
I don't mind getting critical reviews, if they're cogent and balanced. Apparently some people do, and say that people should only give it if it's requested...which, as someone in a writing program who's regularly subjected to unwanted criticism, is a little strange to me. That said, I can kind of see where they're coming from, especially since I have gotten the "I think you should rewrite the story so X happens" reviews on late chapters after I've already finished writing most of the fic, and those are kind of frustrating. I've also experienced some pretty aggressive reviewers who were trying to be constructive in the past... I guess I've picked up some ideas on what I would consider an ideal piece of constructive criticism. Feel free to ignore them though--they are guidelinesafter all.
Some Guidelines for Constructive Criticism
1. Say something nice first. If you hated the entire fic, say something nice about the fandom it's in. I just require a little positivity.
2. If your criticism is specific, be specific. If I made factual errors, tell me where and how; if it's a grammar problem, point out the location and give me a reason why you think it's a mistake.
3. If your criticism is general, try to explain it beyond feeling words. I don't mind "This story confuses me," but "This story confuses me because..." is ever so much better because it's actionable.
4. Don't suggest huge edits to a long WIP without really good reasons to back it up. I have an outline, and possibly written-out chapters; I'd really like you to explain to me why they should all be edited or scrapped because of your problems with the current chapter.
5. Keep in mind that, if it's not a glaring grammatical or factual error, I may not make major changes to a published fic, especially if people have already favorited or positively reviewed it. Once I put the fic online, it belongs to the readers as well as me, and fixing the problem may alter something that someone else really liked.
6. With (5) in mind, try to give writing advice that I might be able to use in my next fic.
7. Please be willing to respond to follow-up PMs about your review. I might have further questions about some of the things you've said. If you're not a fluent speaker of my language, or if I'm not a fluent speaker of yours, I actually might not have understood every part of what you wrote.
If you want to repost these, I'd appreciate it if you credit me. Thanks!
A Recurring Nightmare with Popcorn, my FMA/M*A*S*H crossover. I know it's a weird idea for a crossover, but it actually works really well. I've been putting a lot of effort into it, so I hope you'll all read it. Still not abandoned! I will finish this, I swear. I am currently working on finishing the last few chapters, and I have one or two scenes left before I can start posting them. There should be at least two more chapters and an epilogue, though this is subject to change since I haven't actually finished them and the last few scenes may end up longer than I expect them to be.
The Island of Misfit Toys: A Gundam 00 oneshot collection. Basically ongoing...
Displacement is officially of off hiatus. I'm working on it, but it won't be posted 'til it's finished, so probably not anytime soon...
I won't be updating Sealed Wings or Code Geass: Blind Justice anytime soon. In the case of Sealed Wings , it's because TRC canon went kind of crazy and left my story idea seeming more AU than it was supposed to be and in the case of CG: Blind Justice because I realized that I couldn't handle the heat (or, rather, the harsh reviews) and so I got out of the kitchen (or, rather, the Code Geass fandom).
*A note about images: I am adding images to ALL of my fics, even the horrible ones from back when my writing really, really sucked. The fact that a story now has a graphic does NOT mean it's off of a hiatus*
For Reviews Lounge, Too’s 2015 Reviewers’ Choice Awards
A Quick Intro to Gundam 00 for Readers of “The Island of Misfit Toys”
So, if you’re here because of Reviews Lounge, Too’s 2015 Reviewers’ Choice Awards, and you’re interested in reading my nominated oneshot collection, but have no idea what Gundam 00 even is, here’s a short intro, and a guide to the oneshot collection.
Gundam 00 is an anime which originally aired in 2009 and was licensed in America by Bandai Entertainment. It is part of a large group of anime, manga, and other media collectively called the Gundam franchise, which take place in various realities and timelines but are all linked by the presence of giant robots (usually referred to as “mobile suits”) that are called Gundam, and a few recurring character archetypes and plot points.
Gundam 00 is set in the Anno Domini timeline, essentially, the real world, but begins in 2308. The world has adopted solar power, but it turns out that clean energy can start as many wars as fossil fuels can, and the story starts not long after the end of a major solar energy conflict. The main characters are members of a group called Celestial Being, which is taking the idea of militant pacifism to a new level. Using their incredibly advanced weapons, four Gundam robots, they plan to bring about world peace by carrying out “armed interventions” against anyone promoting or engaging in war. (Yes, that is a contradiction in terms; the show addresses it.) The major nations of Earth are frightened and enraged, while smaller nations and individuals react in their own ways. Meanwhile, Celestial Being’s members, especially the Gundam “Meisters” (pilots), bring a whole new meaning to dysfunctional. To top it all off, the organization is operating using plans and equipment developed by a genius who died years ago—and who may not have told them everything. The series follows them, their allies, troops from the world’s three largest political blocs, the political leaders of a small Middle Eastern nation, and a couple of Japanese civilians as Celestial Being changes the world in ways that none of them expected.
If you want more information,on the show, particularly the and lists, is very helpful. There is also a , but while it is likely to have more detailed, correct information, its articles are unlikely to be well-written.
However, despite the fact that I did not set out to do so at all, I explained enough in a lot of these oneshots that…well, I wouldn’t say that you can understand them completely, but you can at least get a basic idea of what’s going on.
Oneshots with the fewest spoilers (for people interested in starting the show): The Island of Misfit Toys (vague allusions to backstory), Ordinary World (no spoilers), Claustrophobia (spoilers for episode 11), Arguing With Myself (spoilers for episode 11), Accidental Couch-Surfing (vague spoilers for Setsuna’s backstory)
A few adoptable story ideas for you all...I have been trying to write these and none of them have really worked that well for me; maybe your luck will be better.
Avatar: The Last Airbender and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Revolution fusion fic (Zuko as Lelouch, other characters in other roles)
TSUBASA: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and The Mentalist fusion fic (Fai as Patrick Jane, other characters in other roles)
Some sort of Avengers movie-verse and PMMM crossover where both series happen in the same world and Akemi Homura is both an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a friend of Coulson's.
I will trade a one-shot of your choice (below an M-Rating, in a fandom I am familiar with) for a Magic Kaito or Detective Conan AMV centered on Shinichi/Conan or Kaito to the song Yobanashi Deceive from Kagerou Project. You do not understand how badly I want this thing.
An Avengers fic in which everyone totally thinks that they're being crazy and screwing around with Nerf Guns and all that while living in the Tower; while they've actually figured out the spoiler-villian-from-Captain-America-TWS thing and are plotting like the team of geniuses/spies/soldiers they are while using their reputations for insanity as cover.

"We have to wage peace." -Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the person behind the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" which is not actually on Ground Zero.
"It’s gotta be better than not quite dying in a bus wreck on vacation.”-Anne Edwards, in Mary Doria Russell's novel, The Sparrow, on taking chances.
"We must all hang together, or most assuredly we will all hang seperately." -Benjamin Franklin, with some literal gallows humor.
"We don't have to dwell on the painful moments." -Fai, in Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle by CLAMP.
"I wish I could have lived my life without making any wrong turns. But that's impossible. A path like that doesn't exist. We fail. We trip. We get lost. We make mistakes. And little by little, one step at a time, we push forward. It's all we can do." -Yuki Sohma, in Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya.
"You don't only belong to yourself, you know. I doubt there is a single person who belongs only to himself. When someone makes a connection, there is always something shared, and so people will never be completely free. It's that which brings out fun, sadness, & love."--Yuko Ichihara, in xxxholic by CLAMP.
The comma is a gentle creature, peaceful, with an unassuming presence and a cautious nature. It makes its home between clauses, in front of introductory phrases, between lists and near certain conjunctions, with smaller herds breaking off and living elsewhere. Its close relatives, the em dash, the colon and the semicolon, while rarer, are also larger and more distinctive, having similar tendencies and temperament. Fascinatingly enough, its closest biological equivalent, the period, which looks almost exactly like the comma, displays a far more aggressive personality and fierce pride, always making its territory clear and presence obvious.
This is natural. Part of life. But the problems begin when bad fanfic authors take this innocent beast and misuse it.
In most places in the world, the comma alternately suffers neglect and abuse at the hands of its owners. Yanked from its ancestral home and stuck into strange and unfamiliar territory, it does not know how to support itself and survive. While steps have been taken to preserve and cultivate these poor creatures, they prove largely ineffective due to public disinterest.

Everything I Learned In Life, I Learned From CLAMP
I bolded rules I agree with.
1. If you're not angsty, you should be.
99 percent of all fanfiction, AMVs, fanart etc are Yaoi. If you are part of the last 1 percent that believes in non-Yaoi pairings, copy and paste this into your profile. If you've ever wondered what you are like in another dimension, copy and paste this in your profile. If you wish that a fictional character was real, copy and paste this to your profile. Even when you can’t see him GOD is there! If you believe in GOD put this in your profile. If you've ever written the most bizzare cross-over you can think of just for the heck of doing this copy this onto your profile. If you have ever gotten a song stuck in your head that you only know a few words to, and then gotten so fed up that you looked the lyrics up online just so that you could have something else stuck in your head, copy and paste this into your profile. I don't suffer insanity... I enjoy every minute of it. If you are insane (or you think you are), enjoying every minute of it, and proud of it, put this in your profile. If you think that those stupid kids should just give that God-forsaken Trix rabbit some Trix, copy this into your profile. I like cheese. I have seen purple cows. If two gooses are geese, then why aren't two moose meese, or when two foots are feet, why aren't two footballs feetball? Milk tastes good. People call me crazy, which I am, but I'm also random! If you're random and proud of it, copy and paste this in your profile! My best friend is insane, if you agree or if you have an insane friend then copy this to your profile. If you are obsessed with fanfiction copy this into your profile. If you believe that the Wiggles are instruments of the Darkness who are trying to kill us all through bad songwriting, copy and paste this to your profile. If you’re against child abuse (in any form) copy and paste this into your profile. If you know that most everyday problems can be solved with duct tape copy this onto your profile. If you want to see Maximum Ride(the movie) on the very first day it comes out... I'LL SEE YOU THERE!(oh...and copy this to your profile.) If you spend multiple hours each day reading and/or writing copy and paste this into your profile. Put this in your profile if you ever saw a boy and a girl hugging and was tempted to scream, "NO! DON'T DO IT! SHE'LL FIND OUT ABOUT THE CURSE!"
