Poll: Hey, readers of "Another Day at Beacon", I need your help! Would you, perchance, be all right with me introducing more specific mention of another pairing into the story (in a less clumsy way than I originally had in the infamous Chapter Five)? The focus will always remain on Ren/Nora, but these are some other options. Thanks for your feedback! Vote Now!

Greetings! I'm Alley Cat Sunflower, but you can call me Ally if you want. Or not. I don't care.
My Tumblr is "Alley Cat Sunflower".". My Twitter is " ", though I can't promise I'll ever use it. My FictionPress is "
I've been writing fanfiction, or at least coming up with ideas for it, since before I was in kindergarten, though I didn't know what it was called. My first OTP, devised at age six, was Lucentio/Bianca, from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew (I was a weird child. Now I'm a weird teenager).
I'm one of the truest Aquarii you'll ever meet. I'm a 7 with a phobic 6 wing in Enneagramspeak, and in the Meyers-Briggs typing system, I'm an INTP. I'm hetero-asexual, and thus fairly inexperienced in the world of romance. It's also a bit ironic since I write primarily pairing-oriented stories and get ridiculous and often intense crushes on fictional guys.
I can't say I'm either optimistic or pessimistic, because it depends on the attitude of the people around me. If more people are pessimistic, I am optimistic, and vice versa. I can say with confidence, however, that few things make me more negative than a positive attitude.
I adhere primarily to the canon in my work* and do my level best to stay in character. With regard to realistic fanon and headcanons, the phrase "canon until proven otherwise" roughly sums up my opinions.
Rain is my favorite kind of weather; it automatically magnifies whatever emotion I'm feeling, which is usually a positive one, and I additionally find myself in a much more creative mood. In fact, several of the things I post here are at least partially written on a rainy day due to the creativity boost. Unfortunately, the drought in my area has extended over the past couple years, so I hope the weather makes up for the dry spell soon…
College is infinitely better than high school, but ironically, I despise English classes. Maybe it's just because I have had exactly one great English teacher, and that was in seventh grade. (The others have ranged between decent, mediocre, and optimistic. I'm looking at you, Mad Monk.)
Okay, I'll stop talking about myself now. I got a little carried away there.

ALTERNATE UNIVERSES: WORKS IN PROGRESS
Final Fantasy VII: A world in which Aerith never escaped Shinra's custody, Nanaki was captured several years earlier, and Sephiroth was conditioned to believe himself an Ancient from an earlier point in history… and also didn't go on the Nibelheim mission. Several other changes differentiate this one from the main story, such as the general timeline happening somewhat out of order and beginning about five years before it should. Main Characters: Aerith, Sephiroth, Nanaki, Vincent, Zack, Genesis, Kadaj, Yazoo, Loz, Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa, Cid, Barret. Possible Pairings: Sephiroth/Aerith/Zack; Cloud/Tifa. Status: In Progress (approx. 1/5 complete).
Tales of…: A crossover between Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, Graces, and Xillia, smashed together to create an entirely new world encompassing as many plots and dynamics as will fit. Yes, I will definitely think this through very, very carefully before I write anything to do with this, let alone post… Main Characters: Many. Possible Pairings: Many. Status: On Hold.
Tales of…: The working title is "Tales of Dissidia", which should let you know the basic sort of plot: stuck in a world without memories for the purpose of conflict, two sides, et cetera. Of course, since I've never actually played Dissidia, I'm modifying it to suit my needs. Contains, like, seventy characters across the games mentioned in the other general Tales crossover. Main Characters: Many. Possible Pairings: Many. Status: On Hold.
Tales of Xillia: A world in which Milla completed her mission at the age of six and Maxwell's power abandoned her, but the drama is by no means over. She may have eliminated the Exodus base and most of its members, but three agents remain… and they want Elympios back. And did Milla really accidentally kill her sister all those years ago? Main Characters: Milla, Ivar, Gaius, Wingul, Presa, Agria, Jiao, Ludger, Leia, Jude, Elize, Alvin, Rideaux, Julius, Rowen, Muzét, Maxwell. Possible Pairings: Gaius/Milla; Wingul/Karla; Alvin/Presa; Ivar/Leia; Jude/Elize; Ludger/Driselle. Status: On Hold.
Pokémon/Final Fantasy VII: A world in which Zinnia came from Gaia as the daughter of Vincent and Yuffie. Of course, she doesn't remember that; her first memory is of waking up in a meadow on the Pokémon planet. But how did she get there? Will she ever get back home? More importantly, with her entire life now revolving around Pokémon, does she really want to? Main Characters: Steven, Zinnia, Vincent, Yuffie. Possible Pairings: Steven/Zinnia; Vincent/Yuffie. Status: On Hold.
Pokémon: Okay, so bear with me here, but what if the Pokémon world was in a pseudo-medieval state of existence? Because that would totally work if I could manage to pull it off correctly, especially in Unova what with the "King" of Team Plasma thing. Regardless, I'm pretty sure this one will stay in the pile of "what if" ideas for now. Main Characters: Hilda, N, Ghetsis, Cheren, Bianca, Iris, Hilbert. Possible Pairings: N/Hilda/Hilbert; Cheren/Bianca; Benga/Iris. Status: On Hold.
Tales of Xillia: A world in which, by a strange turn of events involving a young woman called Mink, Jude ends up on the run from Rashugal a few years earlier and finds himself in Auj Oule. After a long series of events, in which his determination to do what is right lands him on the streets, he is picked up by none other than the King himself… and a year or so later, in Fennmont, Leia Rolando meets a strange woman trying to get into the research center. Main Characters: Jude, Elize, Presa, Gaius, Agria, Wingul, Jiao. Possible Pairings: Agria/Jude/Elize; Gaius/Presa/Wingul. Status: On Hold.
Tales of Xillia: I know this one has already been explored before to at least some degree, but if fractured!Milla and prime!Milla could coexist in the same dimension, I'm sure there would have been several differences from the canon. My reasoning and the methods behind this shift from canon are different from the story that has been published about it, however. Main Characters: Milla, Milla M., Ludger, Elle, Jude, Muzét, Ivar, Gaius, Rowen, Elize, Alvin, Leia. Possible Pairings: Ludger/Milla/Ivar; Jude/Milla M.; Gaius/Milla; Alvin/Leia. Status: On Hold.
Legend of Zelda: Two words: dance competition. (Two more words: blame Ryuchu.) Main Characters: Link, Zelda/Sheik, Ganondorf. Possible Pairings: Link/Zelda. Status: On Hold.
Tales of the Abyss: A world in which Asch (er, Luke, I guess) stayed at the manor instead of returning to Daath, because let's be honest, his family would have had no real choice to believe him once they'd spoken. But they can't just send the replica back; how will Luke cope with his new twin? And when the time comes for Akzeriuth to be destroyed as is written in the Score, who takes the bullet? Main Characters: Asch, Luke, Natalia, Van. Possible Pairings: Asch/Natalia. Status: On Hold.
Tales of the Abyss: A world in which the protagonists' and antagonists' positions are reversed: follows Luke's journey to discover the truth with a band of friends and acquaintances collected along the way (Van, Sync, Arietta, Saphir, Gisele, and Badaq). But of course there is opposition; led by young commandant Tear Grants, the Six God-Generals aren't about to let the Score stay true. Main Characters: Asch, Van, Legretta, Sync, Arietta, Largo, Dist. Possible Pairings: Sync/Arietta; Van/Legretta; Asch/Natalia/Guy; Guy/Tear. Status: On Hold.
Tales of Symphonia: A world in which Raine bears Kratos's child after he leaves with Derris-Kharlan. How does a single half-elven mother fare in a new and different world… especially when the prejudices against her race are as strong as ever? Main Characters: Raine, OC, Genis, Regal, Colette, Lloyd, Presea, Sheena, Zelos. Possible Pairings: Kratos/Raine/Regal; Genis/Presea; Lloyd/Colette; Zelos/Sheena. Status: On Hold.
THE SHIPPING SECTION
These ones are selected from my Holy Trinity (Pokémon, Tales, and Final Fantasy VII), plus RWBY. Think of it like an excerpt; my actual shipping preferences far outstrip this meager list, not only because I'm a member of more fandoms than these four—but also because even within these ones, I ship way more than this. These are just my major pairings, arranged in descending order of importance.
