By checking in on my current obsession(s), you can usually accurately gauge whether I'm likely to continue an ongoing story! If the story isn't in one of the fandoms I've listed, chances are I'm not going to add anything else soon.
Requests are open, assuming anyone wants me to write anything for them! PM me with the details (since it depends on what exactly your request is as to whether or not I'll do it). A good rule of thumb: don't approach me with yaoi or yuri, since chances are, I don't ship it-- though occasionally, I do surprise myself. Most notable exceptions to this rule so far: America/Britain (Hetalia); Estelle/Rita (Tales of Vesperia); Gamzee/Tavros (Homestuck); Germany/Italy (Hetalia); and Pyrrha/Weiss (RWBY).
Greetings! I'm Alley Cat Sunflower, formerly Raine32, but you can call me Ally if you want. Or not. I don't care.
My Tumblr is "". On NationStates, I run the " ". In Mweor, I am " ". My YouTube is " ", not that I've posted anything worthwhile.
I've been writing fanfiction, or at least coming up with ideas for it, since before I was in kindergarten, though I didn't know what it was called. My first OTP, devised at age six, was Lucentio/Bianca, from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew (I was a weird child. Now I'm a weird teenager).
I'm one of the truest Aquarii you'll ever meet. I'm a 7 with a phobic 6 wing in Enneagramspeak, and in the Meyers-Briggs typing system, I'm an INFP. I'm as close to asexual as a straight girl can get, and fairly inexperienced in the world of romance, despite not being single as of almost three years ago. It's also a bit ironic since I write primarily pairing-oriented stories and get ridiculous crushes on fictional guys.
I can't say I'm either optimistic or pessimistic, because it depends on the attitude of the people around me. If more people are pessimistic, I am optimistic, and vice versa. I can say with confidence, however, that nothing makes me more negative than a positive attitude. I mean, after all, every atom must have its electrons! (Chemistry joke? …Electrons are negatively charged and necessary to the structure of the atom…? No…? Ok.)
I don't use major swear words aloud, nor even minor ones around adults, despite being surrounded by curses wherever I go. Two out of three of my parents are notoriously foulmouthed. I've no doubt someday I'll inherit their profanity, but that day has not yet arrived.
I am a compulsive listmaker, as you will see below with my list of favorite pairings. I've been making lists since I could write, about totally random things. I had a fascination with catalogues of toys, and rather than lusting after them and making lists of things I wanted, I imagined a family with those things and created their lifestyle all in my head. I guess that might have been my first fanfiction, come to think of it, only it wasn't a fandom I was taking ideas from, it was catalogues. (Cataloguefiction??)
I like roleplaying, almost to a fault-- I think the reason my phone broke a few summers ago was because I texted my roleplay partner so much.
One of my major fiction-related flaws is that I can never plan out a story from start to finish; if I do that, it feels to me as though I've already written it out, and I lose interest in actually writing about the idea because it has become boring to me. Furthermore, my brain is very dynamic, constantly working on the same ideas and occasionally changing some element of the plot just enough for the idea to no longer be fanonically correct, and then I have to redesign everything all over again. The only plus to this is that this gives me a second chance to actually write about the idea, since it is no longer complete.
I have a habit of taking an [in my opinion] awesome idea and accepting it as canon even if there is slim to no evidence to support it; to me, it's "canon until proven otherwise". Even if something specifically disproves the theory, I will usually try to find a way to get around it, and oftentimes will be incredibly stubborn about my opinions on the matter.
Rain is my favorite kind of weather; it automatically magnifies whatever emotion I'm feeling, which is usually a positive one, and I additionally find myself in a much more creative mood. In fact, I'd estimate that about 40% of the things I post here were at least partially written on a rainy day because of the creativity boost.
When I'm tired, I speak both more vaguely and more formally than ever. When I'm really tired, I completely stop making sense. But that bit isn't unique to me, is it?
I'm not a big fan of school anymore, and ironically, I despise English classes. Maybe it's just because I have had exactly one good English teacher, and that was five years ago.
Just to let you know, I don't write for all the fandoms of which I am a part.
Ok, I'll stop talking about myself now. I got a little carried away there.

Important Note/Warning: My brain has a habit of skipping from fandom to fandom a lot. In other words, I can't usually accurately predict when I'll finish any of my non-oneshot stories, because I might be halfway through any given story when suddenly some other fandom strikes my fancy, and I'll turn my attention/creativity to that one for awhile until I eventually come back around to the other one.
